  • Ginger Garlic Paste Ingredients:
    ********************************
    Small onion - 125 g
    Garlic - 30 g
    ginger - 15 g
    green chilli - 4 medium size
    Biryani Masala Ingredients:
    ***************************
    Cahewnuts - 10 count
    cardamom - 6
    cloves - 6
    star anise - 1 1/2
    bay leaf - 1 1/2 small size
    cinnamon - 1 1/2 inch
    Stone flower ( kalpasi ) - 2 tea spoon
    nut mug powder - a little bit
    Biryani Ingredients :
    *********************
    Seeraga samba rice - 500 g
    Prawn - 500 to 750 g ( wash it with 1 tea spoon of turmeric powder)
    Pea nut oil - 10 tbl spoon
    Ghee - 5 + 2 tbl spoon
    coriander powder - 1 tea spoon
    cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon
    red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon
    coriander leaves - 1/2 hand full or 20 g
    mint leaves - 1/4 hand full or 10 g
    curd - 75 ml
    salt - 1 1/2 tea spoon
    No lemon juice for prawn biryani

      I made this in the pressure cooker .. did everything exactly like the video suggested .. including water to rice proportion .. I cooked in medium until the first whistle .. and then I put it in sim .. lowest .. and cooked for two more whistles .. the whole house was smelling like a restaurant .. it came out very authentic ..
