@@winningwithwells thank you so much! I’m a medical assistant and I do in-home nursing care. It’s difficult to get this type of job while being out of state because of state licensing and residency, so I may have to wait until I get there to get a job. That’s kinda scary, (to move without first having a job) but I can’t let fear stop me. Do you know of any good connections for this type of job in Houston? I’m looking to be in the Webster area. And it might be a challenge to qualify for an apartment, without a job but I do have money saved up.

I'm originally from Laredo texas, I moved to Houston in 85. Never moved back to Laredo. I LOVE Houston. There is always something to do. Yes, property taxes are high in Houston. But well worth it. And Houston is multi culture. Several places to go eat different foods. You don't have to spend a lot of money if you want to get out of the house in Houston.
    Houston has beautiful parks.

This was the best pro v con video. Thank you. I have been here 11 years and agree with all of your pros v cons . Spot on! God bless and glad you are here also! I have lived many places in the United States but by far the best overall place I have lived is Houston. Now with the way lives have changed with the pandemic and more companies offering remote options like my company did with 100% remote it is truly heaven now.
