      It’s slightly lower from what we paid in Chicago. In Chicago it we paid around 190 per month for 2 cars. In Houston, we pay about 150 per month for 2 cars. And of course that changes based on your vehicle (type and year) plus your driving history.

  • @withjermaine
    @withjermaine 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    okay i have a question. i’m planning on buying a car to obviously get around in h-town (that rhymed). do you guys think it’s a good idea to buy a car now while here in new york city or just wait until i get to houston? i’ve been on the fence about this since i got back to the city (which was a couple months).

    • @HanginWithTheYoungs
      @HanginWithTheYoungs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That’s a really great question. It depends on the car price and model you want to have. The car market in New York is different from Houston. Also it will cost money to ship your car all the way from New York! If you can go without a car until you make the move we’d recommend buying a car when you get here to Houston.

      We used a local transport company in Chicago called Loadaza Transport and Logistics. But you could check out that shipping site I mentioned, UShip to get a bunch of quotes from local and national shipping companies and go from there. The local spot we chose was a few hundred cheaper than some of the others we saw.
