They were always so nervous & hesitant, so much trepidation in any bits with him, but then again that was his intention to embarrass & humiliate for the good of the show.
You guys have to get Biff Henderson's favourite moments. I feel he is the most legendary staff member. Also, how do we make fan requests? Would love to see Dave and Biff doing the unequalled "May we squeegee your face?" again.
Him dressed as The Queen, and the camera pan from the shoes up is just brilliant.
10:36 The way Julia Roberts just laughs and it instantly becomes the most memorable moment of this whole video. Yes, more memorable than that other moment.
Staff Moments is one of my favorite running segments of all time. Hearing the behind the scenes stories from the riff raff themselves is endlessly fascinating for the countless folks Dave brought happiness to around the world. Great work Brian! Thanks so much for sharing and for all you did! That Julia clip, among so many, is such a timeless gift to television and audiences all over.

That Tina Fey moment 15:15 remains one of my favorite things to ever happen in a late night talk show. SIMPLY ICONIC! And yes, you always gotta trust Tina Fey.
Of all the old clips on the channel, I like the staff moments best. Always terrific.

This video was (a) funny, (b) educational, and (c) inspiring that a valet can rise to be a producer. This video has hit the trifecta.
Brian's is not such an unusual path for people who work in TV talk shows (he has just been more successful than mostl ). Remember, he started as an intern (for Regis, Montel, & Letterman), but he went to university, too.
After getting his degree in his early 20s, Brian worked full-time for a few years in daytime TV: booking for the Montel Jordan Show, the Ricki Lake Show, and Judge Hatchett... before returning to Letterman where he worked for the show's final 11 years: Letterman was an extremely popular show, watched by teens & adults of all backgrounds. Now that Letterman is retired, Brian Teta is back working on daytime TV. This time he's booking talent for The View, which is probably the most popular of the current daytime shows, esp now that Ellen's show is over.
I like Brian's favorites a lot. The sentimentality runs deep.

I apologize if you already know this, but Dave always referred to Kelly as "Kelly Lee," so I'm guessing that was a reference to that.
Funny. The show was at it's high point in the late/early 90's. It was never the same after those years.

The Late Show with David Letterman was more interesting than I remember it.
