As the family wrapper of my family every year for Christmas, I have to say the wrapping process kinda hurts 😭 But the wrapping paper looks so minimalistic and cute, I gotta get this. Great video btw
I haven't gotten to that part yet, but I guarantee you I'm worse at it lol. I can't cut a straight line to save my life, and I feel like I probably look like I'm trying to figure out rocket science and not how much paper I need.

wrapping tip, after working at a bookstore and wrapping hundreds of books! it's a lot easier to fold the short sides if you only have like an inch on paper, then you can just fold it over the sides of the book and not overlap the paper. also wrapping the opposite side helps, so folding the upper side when you have the lower towards you. it makes it easier to get pressure and to get the wrapping tighter. it's very hard to explain in writing haha, but I hope it helps

@@SaraCarrolli I’d also add to starting with your book and only and inch or so on one side, then cut the paper a second time on the other side so that you have about the same amount of paper hanging off there too.
And if you really want to get crazy and have a clean line on the back, give yourself enough paper to fold the back flap paper and then you’re taping paper to paper and not paper to book.
Also, the paper you used makes for a harder time wrapping because of its quality and thickness. If you use a cheaper paper, it’s much easier to fold and hold.
Daisy Jones and the Six is one of my favorites and I 100% recommend that you listen to the audio version if your hesitate to read it because they did such a good job narrating it! It makes it such a better experience in my opinion! ❤

GUURRLL! Make the ends of the paper much much shorter and it will make your wrapping so much easier! Having less to fold over and make the triangles or whatever out of will make you so happy
Now I kinda want to do that too, I think I would actually read more of the books on my tbr! but then again I JUST reorganised my bookshelf and I don’t want to mess it up already😅 I would put the books back where they were and then it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore ‘cause I always know exactly where on my shelf a specific book is

Daisy Jones and the six is AMAZING! I would recommend tandem reading with the audio book on audible because it has a whole cast and it really brought the book to life it was so good🙌🏻🙌🏻
djats is one of my all-time favourites. top three. I literally read it for the first time and then the next day, picked It up and read it again. Also, for djats if you are a bit hesitant about reading it, I recommend the audiobook. It's like a completely different surreal experience than just reading it. no audiobooks like it.

I've also done this, but because I've never wrapped a day in my life and I didn't wanna waste my money on paper. I just typed/listed out my tbr in a number list. And then I had my friend pick three numbers from that numbered list. And I honestly think it's a great alternative. Definitely will get you through your tbr if you have the willpower to actual stick to the books that were choosen.

I did not think I would like Daisy Jones & the Six and it sat on my shelf for months. READ IT. I enjoyed it so much. The audiobook is amazing! Best experience is in the audiobook for sure. It was such a fast read for me.

Addie Larue is my favorite!! i feel like if you love historical fiction you'll love it and if hf isn't your thing you're not gonna like it. Personally I love anything historical so that's probably why its my favorite. I just got sucked into the past while reading which I love. I didnt really like the ending though. I havent finished the vid yet so I hope you end up picking it!!

The invisible life of Addie larue and the secret history is the best. They are both so beautifully written and so world changing. Reading them takes you somewhere else. I know a lot of people say the book drags but absolutely not. Not for me at least, every part is intriguing and interesting.
Ironically was just reading and took a break to browse Instagram. When I saw that you had a new video and saw the title I had to rush over here! This is a nice little break from my book. Plus I kinda now randomly wanna try this. It looks like so much fun! 😊📚

The devil is Black is literally one of my comfort books. I really didn’t know what to think of it at first but I just fell in love with the characters and the story!!

No judgement on the wrapping. But just some tips. One when you do the first part make sure the paper over laps by a bit like an inch. Then one each side make sure there is only about 2 inches each side. That will make the triangle part easier. I hope that helps. Wrapping seems so easy till you do it lol
Don't worry about the wrapping. I struggle with the folds on end too so I just fold them over 😅😅

Yes girl I LOVE matcha. I have become super caffeine sensitive since I got 🤰so I can't have my iced coffee. But gurl the pregnancy fatigue is real so I have been literally living off matcha. And the best part is is doesn't give you that jittery wired feeling. Love it!

For anyone wanting to do this but not wanting to use a lot of paper or just can’t be bothered wrapping, you can get someone to put post it notes in the books and make it into a scavenger hunt!

I truly loved reading the Devil wears black, loved how funny the main couple were ,4 out 5 stars for me.

I had not great expectations for both daisy jones and the flatshare because I wasn't sure I would like either one but I ended up LOVING both! I haven't read any other TJR so I can't confirm if it's better or worse than her others but overall they were both really good

Ps i think daisy was over hyped it was like a 3.5 for me but still it's fast
