I’ve owns mine for three years and I’ve never had a hiccup. I’ve raced iRacing and Forza Series on Xbox and it works wonders. Yes it’s expensive but worth the money
Have u ever had problems with it overheating or loosing force feed back cause ive heard that thrustmasters have a overheating issue and it’s making me hesitant to buy one
@@Skellypixel4287 you can use force cooldown mode or something just by pressing some button, there are easy tutroials for it, and you can set the FFB on a gentler degree. It's probably more likely to lasts long if you do these.

I have this with American Truck Simulator. They have just updated the force feedback so it’s really good. Also I play in VR with a truck gear stick also so it’s very immersive.

hi , 4:08 I've seen an official video directly from thrusmaster regarding the t300 or the tmx i don't remember good, but in the video the screw you are talking about they have it screw all the way in completely flush, but in the user manual it says not to do so , but from my personal use i have it screw all the way in.
Mine will be here Saturday. I'm thinking that long screw could get replaced with a short one and problem solved 🤔 looks awesome! I'm super excited 😄

Yeah I have the tmx with only two pedals as of right now and it’s honestly decent.
For the price, it is rather good. The stock 2 pedal set isn't great, but thankfully you can separately buy and use any of the thrustmaster pedals.

Hi, is there a way to check if the ffd is working correctly. I have a the same wheel and I have feeling that the FFB is generally not strong enough(the wheel is brand new) and it is getting weaker during gaming(the base does not heat up at all). For example, I play f1 2020/22 and "on track effect" is set to 100 but it is almost absent, it occurs very rarely(it's like I'm driving on an almost perfectly smooth road) and it feels very, very, very weak. А month ago I played the same games on a different wheel(same model - thrustmaster tx) and the feeling was completely different.These are my settings:
Тhrustmaster control panel:
Rotation: 360 deg
Overall strength of all forces: 75%
Constatn: 100%
Periodic: 100%
Srping: 100%
Damper: 100%
F1 2020 settings:
Vibration and ffb: 70
On track effects: 20 - 100 (there is almost no difference)
Rumblestrip Effects: 50
Off track effects: 65
Wheel damper: 10
Understeer Enhance: off
There isn't much of a difference in terms of vibrations when I set the rest of the f1 settings to their maximum values, only the wheel feels tighter.On the other wheel I played on (same model) with the same settings the feeling was completely different and the desk almost bounced at maximum settings. May you share your experience with the wheel and do you think there might be a problem with the base?

TeenGamer, I am hoping you can help me with this. I have a Thurstmaster TX leather edition steering wheel and an Xbox One console. I have been playing Nascar Heat 4. I can go into the game and adjust the steering wheel settings but I have been told that there are more settings in the Xbox Control panel. I understand that from the main xbox screen you can go to add accessory, but it doesn't show my steering wheel.
If I have a regular controller it recognizes it but doesn't seem to recognize my steering wheel even though the steering wheel works fine in the game.
I have updated my firmware and that didn't make a difference.

sounds like you need to adjust the settings on the PC control panel - I don't think the TX has any form of setting adjustment through the xbox console

So I have a tmx as of right now. I’ve been looking at a fanatec csl dd and this wheel from thrustmaster. I have a budget of 500 or so dollars so what would anyone recommend for me? I have a Xbox one and only a desk btw
In that case I would go for this wheel in the video. If you go for a DD (Direct Drive) wheel, I‘d suggest getting a Playseat to properly mount your hardware.

I don't know what to do the calibration isn't accurate and i did what the maunuel told to unplug it and get it of the power suply and after an hour i re-installed the wheel and the calibration was still of annyone got an idea of what to do?

Does one have to buy the M6 bolts separately for mounting on a chair with a frame? I havent seen anything where either the wheel or chair(s) come with those mounting bolts.. plz help lol
Normally wheels don’t come with the bolts. But bolts are dirt cheap
@@danielsysila4216 thanks! I've got myself an OpenWheeler Gen3 racing seat and frame by Team HomeRacer, which came with the hardware for mounting pretty much any brand of wheel, and the Thrustmaster mounts up to it just fine! :)
@@cable440 wow, nice setup! One tip, if the wheel is overheating, press the mode and st buttons together for a couple seconds and the fans will stay on full.

I have a slight issue with my d pad on my copy and seems to be getting stuck is there a way to fix the issue? And would WD-40 even help?
Wd40 should help but try take it apart as it could leave a slippery surface on the leather.

This is a very accurate review, I’ll just suggest you to try the wheel with more realistic games like: Asseto Corsa, Asseto Corsa Competizione, Dirt Rally 2.0, WRC 10 and Project Cars 2, which have way better physics than Forza or NFS.

t300rs has 1080 degress when TX only 900. But TX has "leather edition rim" in bundle, and t300rs only rub or alcantara edition. I prefer leather...

Tbh if anybody is wondering the tx and the t300rs both can can anything you need they have plenty of power and detail enough to compete with the best players online you don't need anything else yes it will surprise you it's probably a bit better then you expect it was for me due to me having the csw v2.5 which is stronger yet the t300rs feels weighting when using it due to the dampening for me it's more needed with a belt wheel then I thought I enjoy using my t300rs more then my csw I don't gel with the csw as much as some may but I get why so many people coming from thrustmaster to fanstec usually end up missing there thrustmaster but moving to the fanstec DD is different it's so direct it has that weighty feel due to how much drtisl therr I'd and feeling the car right away but awesome video man good stuff

@1:16 Noop, inside its plastic fantastic, mine was broken when i bought it second hand, i gleued it back toghetter but it is just a piece of plastic with 2 screws.
The playstationwheel has 6 screws this one only 3 on the middle.
Also the motor is the first thing that breaks, my wheel has a ffb of 100% and if i change it it become's 0%.
Im selling it and bought a ps3 4 wheel T300 second hand it's much cheaper and better.
If you want to buy a wheel go to the store and try them first. 😉
How similar is the Shifters in the game to real life cars? I kind of want to buy this as a way to learn how to drive manual in actual cars ..
That's a pretty cool idea!
So the shifter isn't included with this set, however, if you were to get it and get the add-on shifter separately, it's called the TH8A. You can buy them used a bit cheaper than brand new.
As far as how similar? Most shifters work exactly the same and it would work great to build muscle memory. It might not feel exactly the same as an actual car, but it would definitely help for practice.
Not similar until you get into high spec sim equipment, these pedals just have simple springs.

Yea more buttons but the FFB on the Logitech is antique compared to the TX. The belt driven system in this makes it much more smooth than the Logitech wheels. Its also nearly twice as powerful!

Sorry but if that steering wheel is better than what’s in your car I gotta know what kind of car you drive.. The servo is decent but not sure sure about the wheel which I’d venture to guess is made as is to entice purchase of an upgrade. Looking at their website if you wanna get started in sim racing the 500 dollar price point meets a slightly above average standard selling a more quiet device than its competitor in the Logitech wheel so why not just go with the Sparco for 700? That’s my train of thought and then when I reach this conclusion I say to myself why not just go Fanatec and build a higher quality rig and just be done… ppl say sim racing is cheap to get started in but it’s not for your average consumer. It’s ridiculous.. nobody wants to clamp a steering wheel to a desk that’s not sim racing that’s using a wheel for 500 bucks or so. For me sim racing is a wheel that IS like the one in your car and the seating and setup around you so you can simulate the experience. Just my thoughts not trying to be anti review guy. More playing devils advocate here..
I own one and in 8 months the servo motor stop working found out other people had this same issue servo motor is TRASH!!!
Yeah I’ve been reading that and it’s been my only concern... honestly 8 months is pretty good I’d be happy with that. I just don’t want it to break in like 3-4. Either way it isn’t ideal but I’m guessing you used it pretty often?

@@conbee6058 The reason I said that is that the video quality was great and the person speaking sounded like he knew his stuff. Which he definitely didn't. So what I meant by the comment is that the person seemed like a trustworthy guy who might have tested something higher tier and had something that he was comparing it to like a dd1 user that decided to make a video about a more budget option but i ended up realizing that the guy probably bought this as his first wheel. AND ON TOP OF THAT I COMMENTED THAT 3 MONTHS AGO!!!
