Installing Pro-Line Trenchers on an Arrma Senton

- In this video, I will be throwing some new rubber under my Senton. If you are like me and have bald tires, this upgrade is a no brainer. However, those of you who may have decent tread left who are on the fence, my advice to you is to go for it. Pro-Line tires will have much better traction, at least as far as replacing stock Arrma tires. This was very easy to do and made the RC much more fun off the pavement.
I am not sponsored by Arrma, Pro-Line, or Spektrum. Based on personal experience with these products however, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is a newbie like me, and even to those who have been in the hobby for some time.

Great vid and I'm new to the hobby so this may be a dumb question. The Trenchers are bigger than the ARRMA tires, obviously, did you have any gearing issues down the road? I always though you had to lower the pinion gear to account for the difference in tire size. Thank you!
Yeah, you might get some cogging with the stock gearing and trenchers. I dropped from 20t to 17t on the pinion and the cogging went away.

They do balloon, though it is a reasonable amount. Its not as much as the stock tires did.

I'm running trenchers on my senton 3s v3. Why not just buy 12mm hubs? Way cheaper doing it that way
Does the Trencher have a 14mm hex?
The tire set does not include a 14mm adapter, however these can be purchased separately from Pro-Line
How long did the tires last
They're still going, though on that note I drive about once a week, and very little on asphalt.

What are the specs on the proline tires

How does It go with this tires? Any problem?
These tires are great! Very grippy and durable. no body trimming was needed, so highly recommend these pro-lines.

I did not have to cut the body to install these wheels and tires. The part numbers are: 1190-10 (wheels and tires) and 6347-00 (hex adapters)

@@51-FS yeah they are. These are $40. You can order full hobby grade RCs for that price. wltoys 144001 is as low as $70 new. At $70 it's not much more than the $50 it costs to buy these tires and adapters

And them 1/14 cars are 100 bucks.....
How do you afford this 💀43 dollars for 2 tires, 86 for all 4, and they will go bald again. I ain't gonna be able to afford the maintenance on my Arrma Senton once I get it 😭
