    I tried to learn how to segment knot but I wasn’t really getting it, so watching you do the segment knitting in real time in this video was actually really helpful! Also, that pattern is a beauty

    Ive always wanted to see how you make a bracelet in real time to see all of the technicalities and detail that you put into making one. I love your channel, it’s what got me back into making bracelets as I had stopped for a year or 2 but then I found your channel and it inspired me to get back in and now within about 9 months I have developed a pile of quite a few bracelets (though weird thing is I don’t wear many of them)

    I’m a very visual learner and have a semi-photographic memory so I can pick up a pattern after doing it once. Sometimes if I watch someone else do it I can do it but after just looking at your bracelet I think I could do it without a pattern!!

    Please please make a hacks video! You've already given me some really helpful tips in this video (I could never figure out why my bracelets would curl up- duh, it's not alternating the knot at the end! That makes perfect sense), and it would help me so much. I'm definitely a beginner, but I'm so happy to have found your channel!

      Yeah the Alize Diva silky effect yarn is great for knotting. I use the Scheepjes Catona thin yarn size 8/4 its a fingering weight yarn and is great for knotting.

    How do you not get all the threads that are the same color mixed up and know which thread you knot on when they all look the same? I've tried segment knotting onnantwo color large bracelet and just kept getting mixed up.

    are there some patterns that are like the best for multicolored string? got some string that fades from blue to purple then red and pink but I just dont know which pattern would be the best for it, lol

    • @MashaKnots
      @MashaKnots  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally like stuff with borders. Like this one has a clear white outline. I feel like it balances the multicoloured string that way. But it’s just personal preference. Maybe some Celtic style designs

    • @rowanfarmer4804
      @rowanfarmer4804 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I too struggle with chevrons but I can make more “advanced” bracelets easier. I’m not sure why it is but I make diamond bracelets and they turn out better than my chevrons! So I recommend finding a pattern that is just barely harder and doing that. It made me more confident in my bracelet making.
