What a great rifle, I'm glad the people who donated these firearms had the wisdom to let others enjoy them also. Evan hope your New Year is full of joy and happiness!
Excellent artifact and commentary, Evan. 👍 In my 20 years as a Cowboy Action Shooter, I participated in matches with three different people who shot replica Colt Lightning rifles. All three were female.

Although the Colt Lightning didn't last long, another pump action rifle did. Remington's Model 12, in .22, went through at least 3 iterations.
i've thought of getting a Uberti replica for long !
Anything interesting in the back story of previous owner or how museum came to have the Lightening? Enjoy your videos greatly.
Thanks for bringing out such a beautifully preserved specimen! Usually Wyoming guns are rode hard and put away wet. What caliber is it?
You forgot to tell proper call of action was SLIDE action not pump
1884 not 1894
