I am a Hospice rn here in Kansas and this was a beautiful story and testimony of what hospices do for the patient AND family. We take care of everyone, my Hospice we helped with several weddings, baptisms, engagement then a wedding and basically if a patient wanted a celebration or try to go to Galveston island one last time with her sister we made it happen. My calling in life is being a Hospice RN Case Manager and I am so thankful that God chose this job for me. Kudos to all of at Hanson Hospice Center for making this work and what a beautiful day and a priceless day. 3 cheers for this Hospice team and for all hospice staff and volunteers who are making a difference daily

Sweet girl, live the life you have - write everything you can about who mum was as a person and what a great mum she must of been to raise a beautiful young lady like you. Tell your children all you can - do it whilst it's fresh - it will help you to heal. I am preparing that for my children now. I won't see Grandchildren but i know they will still know me. You are in my prayers. God Bless you, your husband and your marriage. And may your mum be without pain and sickness in Heaven. lizzy - UK
Your mum will always be with you, so long as a person is in your heart they are always there. She must have been so proud of the selfless person that you clearly are. I wish you every happiness in your lives together.
I spent 10 years working as a Nurse before getting my Nurse Practitioner. My last nursing role was in pediatric home health and my last patient was an infant on hospice. The nurses are humans too and these moments are emotional for us as well. Hospice nurses are incredible humans and I’m happy that they were able to make this happen for this family.
