i have the Fjallraven Abisko Lite 1 with footprint and love it, in any season! I have the inner fixed in place as well as the footprint; so when I take it out of the bag in bad weather it is ready to pitch. So so easy! As for condensation, I have never experienced any no matter in low lands or Mountains, or season. You made the right decision!
@@doublewhopper67 I have had it in little wind, very windy, summer and winter. No condensation, so far. Meaning nothing wet inside the tent or any sign on the inside of the outer tent. At night in winter, I usually have the outer door open (unless raining) until I go to sleep. In hot summer (unless raining) I have the outer door open all night. Because I am naturally a hot sleeper I need the door open as much as possible. Though I might when sun shining through door area, close in last hour of morning before getting up, just to get a few more comfortable winks. This might assist in the lack of signs of condensation!
I have had my Abisko Lite 1 a few years, and I still adore it. Absolute quality and you can double pole it for brutal conditions. Great vid, by the way mate. Liked and subbed on the basis of this :)
Nice tent! I recently got a Tarptent Rainbow, the headroom is magnificent. Was looking at that fjellreven but I having to bend my head I’d just as well use my bivy 😆

Noticed the tents from the department and general stores have gone up a bit here too but not by a huge amount though. Not seen what the sports and camping shops have for many years but I would say they would want an arm and leg for them. Good to see you again though bro. Safe travels

If you have a true 4 season tent, solid inner, pitched tight to the ground your gonna suffer massive condensation. I'd recommend a half mesh inner and fly slightly lifted to aid condensation. another thing to consider is surface area. the fly on my snugpak Ionosphere is as big as a towel. which means that thats the only surface area that can get condensation. Smaller is better If condensation is the thing that puts you off going out. and take a handful of bigger pegs for soft ground.
Nice tent! Can the guy lines be shortened because that length of line would be a nightmare for me as I wild camp in sheep infested areas and the rascal wool merchants would get tangled up in them! They are real trouble makers I find! 😁🐑❄️🎅
If you'd just stop exhaling in there it wouldn't be a problem. I usually have all the tent vents open so that it doesn't build up pressure from one of my home made dehydrated meals. Just sayin- P.S. What beautiful looking day for a camp. Just sayin again- And, 6'2"

I've defo had condensation in my abisko lite 1, but not much and I may have not vented it properly. But man what a tent.

Only thing that put me off that Abisko is the price, 18 months ago you could get them for £320 now they are about 600, may as well get an Akto.
