Amazing video aboot the Abisko Lite 2. Learned what I can do with mine. Definitely getting the footprint after seeing this. Fjallraven for life! -from Michigan US
Had this tent for a few years now. I camp high in the mountains in Scotland, on the beaches, forests etc. the amount of rain and WIND it can sustain is incredible. Haven tried it in winter yet but I consider it a great balance between comfort, weight and hardiness. I’ve been having no issues with it and the quality of the materials is on par with Hilleberg as I had them two pitched side by side.
Thanks for watching the video 👍 it’s a great tent I’ve had mine for 3 years now and have done a lot of camps in it and it’s still awesome and I agree the materials used on this tent are on a par with Hilleberg 👍
@@rickrollins1178 Hi Rick, I think it should be seam sealed as per Fjallraven recommendation but I haven’t seam sealed mine and it hasn’t leaked yet. But when I get around to doing it I will 👍 thanks for watching the video
@@GodAtum Hi Having used this tent for well over a year now, the tent is prone to condensation, it’s not to bad in warmer weather but I used this tent on a recent sub zero snow camp and the condensation was quite bad 👍
Great video Simon, that tent looks the business! I'm on the lookout for a new lighter tent so this is another option for me to ponder over. Thanks for showing us! Atb Daz & Andy 😁👍🏻🏕
A good tent review - I watched it to get inspiration for a tent review I am planning to do. But you ended up being a good salesperson for the Abisko 2 - it is a quality tent no doubt about it and it has been a good companion for you in the other movies that you have posted! Cheers
Hey, great video, so good in fact, I just ordered one. I also went with the footprint. I was looking at the Nallo 2 or this one but went with the lite 2. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for such a great informative video.
Hi there, yes it is my dog but I don’t take him camping though because he wouldn’t settle down and probably trash the tent, but you could fit a dog that size in the tent no problem, hope this helps 👍 thanks for watching
Great review. Just bought this in UN blue and bought the extra pole kit so hoping that will make an already solid tent even better. Did you seam seal yours at all?
Hi there thanks for watching the video 👍 I haven’t seam sealed the tent but I read somewhere that it should be seamed sealed but I haven’t sealed mine and I have used it in all weather conditions and it hasn’t leaked 👍

Hi thanks for watching, the Abisko 2 lite is a great tent and lots of room for 1 person but the only thing is there isn’t a lot of headroom if you are taller than us and we are about 5, ft 9 I can’t comment on the Soulo as we have never been in one, we have used the Abisko in high winds etc and it performed well. We are soon gonna do another review on this tent, 4 years on from when we first bought it giving our thoughts on it 👍 still a great tent
@@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors great thank you, I'm 5 10 but love the design and large porch especially if I'm spending a long time inside in winter. Look forward to the next video.
Is it possible to pack the tent with the footprint to the original bag of the tent? seems like the bag is loose enough so it could accommodate the tent even if the foot print is attached?
Hi thanks for watching, yes you can pack the tent away with the foot print attached (it’s what I always do I leave the foot print attached to the tent )and yes there is enough room in the tent bag 👍
It’s great I love it, we recently took it out on a snow camp in the Brecon Beacons, the vid is on this channel, the tent held up well 👍 thanks for watching and commenting .
I've been looking into getting this tent for a while now. Would you say it's roomy enough for two people? Honestly, it's mostly for me and my dog but it would be nice to know if you actually can fit two sleeping pads next to each other?
Hi Almarsson, you can definitely fit two sleeping pads side by side as we have done it a few times, so you and your dog won’t be any problem at all, and there will still be plenty of room for your gear as well 😁👌👍
Hello Twin Peaks. Top video. I recently bought the same tent. It looks as if you have pitched the tent perfectly, it's very taut, especially the rear inner. Couple qs for you, if you can advise? Although, I've only pitched it three times, my rear inner seems to fall forward a bit. I'm 5ft8 and the rear inner was touching my sleeping bag foot end each time. Any advice? Also, my gold pole leans backwards a little. The red pole pitches perfectly upright, but my gold pole tilts back a tad, is that normal? Lastly, at what angle do you recommend pitching the front and rear guys? I think the red pole guys should be at 45degrees as per your video, but I thought the gold guys should come straight out in line with the pole? Any thoughts? Ok Twin Peaks. Regards, Wadirunner.
Hi sorry about the late reply, I am going to take the tent out soon for another camp 👍 I will pitch it and I will see if I can recommend anything, but one I know for certain the gold pole will lean back a little mine is the same 👍 I will reply to you again soon, thanks for watching
Flo Möller Hi yes you will be able to lay down in this tent comfortably but sitting up you may struggle because it is a low tent and the height is 90cm just under 3 foot, hope this helps 👍🏻
Hi, thank you for a great review! I am 6'4 / 194 cm tall. Will I be able to sleep in the tent without touching the inner tent? I realize that I won't be able to sit in it comfortably, but I guess that is the cost of having a low weight 4 season tent (although I realize that this tent should not be tested in extreme winter conditions).
TheViersi Hi there, I think you being 6’4 shouldn’t be a problem for you in this tent, you won’t touch the inside of the tent, but sitting up would be not possible. Thanks for watching 👍
