I shit you not ever since this video dropped player scavs especially on streets are a lot more agro and less trusting and basically shoot on site instead of sticking together. The mass paranoia is a formula that Sam has mastered, and I respect him for it.

Sam, there's a better way to do the joke gun thing. Put a wrong round in the chamber, fill the mag up to max minus one wrong bullets, then ONE right bullet to top it off. Shift+T chamber checks, doesn't mag check. Alt+T mag checks, lists only the top visible round type (the right one) and doesn't chamber check.
The trick to sniffing out a scav or a PMC is the boots, the scav boots or sometimes flip-flops are always filthy and dirty. The PMC’s are crisp, clean and new.
I was once shooting at a player scav in factory and he yells back “bro wtf are you doing I’m a scav too!” And I go “oh my bad” get down to where he’s looting and say “hey dude you should really memorize the BEAR clothing options” and popped him lol

Holsters are a huge red flag, no scavs have holsters, several of the outfit options from ragman for usec and a few ( only like 2) for bear have no holster on the pants. The top is up to you and changin it up a bit to see what works for you is best but hide the patch obv. sev tops for both sides dont have patches and look scavvy. Overkill is also a risk, especially if the raid just started and you have every single possible scav thing ie... beanie, fire mask stockless ak with no dustcover and 10 rounders scav vest and duffle is a bit on the nose. And last ofcourse the map is a huge factor. We loved running factory, murdering the other 4 people, and waiting to farm scavs we would simulate firefights and yell PMC over here then theyd walk past us and wed shoot them in the back of the head. Good times
Multiple scav clothings have holsters, but they aren’t common. But learn what scav clothing has those holsters specifically they have a unique look, a green rain-coat textured looking one has it
I always dress up as a scav with my bro when we are tasking because it makes tarkov life easier and safer. Look like a scav, hide and wait for the scav time to begin and then blend in. Ez life. I once forgot my evasion armband on and still wasn't caught!
