My thought is could you add something underneath? Like a tray or something or a small extension underneath so when it does drip it doesn’t get on the reflector. I have a gosun and haven’t used it yet but I’ll update you on what happens with my experience 👍
You could use tinsnips to cut away a small piece of the reflector directly under the tube opening, I can't see it reducing the cooking temp much. Looks like a very handy device thou. Thanks for you work on pushing what is possible
Let me think about an attachment that would go around the end of the tube and catch the drippings and route them down a hose where they can drain on the ground... Should be able to 3D print it. I work slow, but I need one too so sooner or later?
Use piece of old reflector under end that leaks. Rolling a bit of the part that goes under so when it leaks it leaks onto old piece that is fashioned in such a way to make anything dribbling to role out toward ground. Then you only have 5ge piece of old reflector to clean.
Cut half inch off but only partially, fold it like a flap so when you need it for reflecting you bend it up and when you need to pull the tube out and risk mess bend it down? Lol good luck

I was thinking and wondering if maybe get a silicone sheet (goes in a cookie sheet) from dollar general, cut a round hole in middle to slip tightly over end and it would create a bit of a funnel so if you wanted to collect the buttery goodness an pour it back on? 😂 or large silicone muffin holder.
you could actually make perfume with fat-extraction /or distillery. just a cool idea, if you get those neverending people who want everyone to smell like hugo boss, but you smell like sweetest natural perfumes. just thought.. i started meditating to see plants charaktereistics , and ended up using it to create perfumes. principipially there are alot of plants with cool smells, as long as you know or suspect its save to use. flowers are said to yeald more via fat-extraction, but one can even do a diy distillery in a pot for woods, and such. And now a big tip, i found out that branches, even the branches and stemms of flowers, they all have a ver unpleasant smell, you simply cant use those as a general rule (however some woods work, but better know wich, cause smell literally sticks in your mouth, its so horrible. But i found this quiet interesting. And , yeah it needs alot material to just to make Perfumewater (this is one single destillation without to separate the oil on top of the DIY distillery..) butsome comes out of it, and , well, i like the creations i did.. just wanted to talk about it, dont think this is reall possible. Just wanted to tell its interesting to like analyse the smells, really concentrate on what your brain is doing, often smells kind of modulate m mood, like per example Needle Trees have some almost anxiety reducing properties, on the minis side the make me feel dull. its just interesting at times to note .
this is what happens when the people invent a product cause "thats what they do" not out of necessity and hours of using product. you need to find someone to help you build your new design ideas that are inspired by actual usage and not some nerd in a lab trying to be sustainable after he drives his bentley in.

Why dont you try just setting it on an angle, so the dripping end is lower? Maybe then, it would just drip onto the ground ? Or else some heavy duty tin foil under that part? Looks like a good meal !
Yeah but then you wouldn't be paying money for extra reflectors. These companies don't make products with ease of use in mind anymore. They make them to be broken... so that you need to spend more money. And they get to reap the profit. A lot of them work that way. I can't say anything about this specific company, but I wouldn't be surprised.

To remove tab: Cover glass with tape or cloth for protection, then use your coarse sharpening stone to grind it down.

Could you cut a v or something under the tubes opening in the reflector?
could you put some aluminum foil tape at the seal area. when you build up of grim just remove and replace the tape.
