I am a certified Poor Things hater, mostly based on the approach of that story, however I actually enjoyed this film. I didn't find the anthology set up to be distracting which I saw some people saying, and I think the score (or lack thereof in places) is actually well done in this. I felt like I was locked in a room with someone who was slowly freaking me out more and more and I was into it.
That’s kind of a hilarious way of describing the Kinds of Kindness experience😂but it’s accurate. I will always admire Yorgos approach to telling original stories in a peculiar way.
Certified Poor Things hater is crazy🤣

Appreciate you🫡❤️
I liked this film, but didnt love it as much as Poor Things. Poor Things was good weird, this one just weird 😂😂 I liked how the stories didnt connect, but I felt I didnt get much out of them besides just seeing a made up story olay out
Poor Things was a one of a kind. I will always give Yorgos his props on originality, but I don’t see myself really remembering this one in the future lol.
Good review. I liked all the stories that were told and did not notice the run time. The first story might be the best because it's easier to understand.
True, the first story is the least confusing haha. Thanks for tuning in🙂
I watched this movie in an EMPTY movie theater. I was the only person sitting there and I was kind of spooked and scared, even though I know this was not supposed to be the emotion to come from that movie. The references to cults started as soon as someone mentioned cool aid. I felt like even the story that wasn't ''officially'' about a cult were somewhat about being coerced and brainwashed. I loved it! Some parts were very uncomfortable to watch.
Watching movies in an empty theater is an amazing and undefeated experience😮💨
Brainwashing was definitely a big part of the third story. In fact, you could argue for all of the stories to some extent haha.
I was on board probably half way maybe a little over half way. That third story is really out there. I’m going to do some research to see if I can find out some more information. Definitely a one time watch.
True haha, but I still enjoyed it for the most part
Please also find out why Yorgos loves to have his plants watered. It's the second film after The killing of a sacred deer to reference "Watering the plants". Margaret Qualey was on the phone in one of the segments and she mentioned going to water the plants.
Yup the WTF movie, is a great selling point for the movie
Best way to put it😂
I would have like this film if it had an intermission. Almost 3 hours and no break? The Karen inside of me was triggered.
Lmaooo I wouldn’t have mind an intermission, but then again Oppenheimer and The Batman didn’t have an intermission and those films were longer and peak😂
@@TJBillups Yeah, an intermission would have added to the anthology gimmick he was aiming for. I never saw Oppenheimer and The Batman was very slow-paced and forgettable. In my opinion.
So you did a great job with the review!
I told some of the scenes with my dad what happens in this movie and he thought it sounded kind of creepy!
I saw this movie as well!
Going into this blindly having knowing nothing about this movie!
I was thinking of this idea for an episode where the main character’s dog gets stolen by two cult leaders who are naked and the cults supports a tree!
Also I wanna name the episode “the house of the cult”
You can guess what’s that’s a reference to!
Also after the main character kills the man cult leader the woman cult leader eats his heart and turns into a creepy angel to kill our main character!
You just gave Yorgos the outline for his next film. He is writing the script as we speak😂😂😂 I can actually see that as a movie.
Thank you for tuning into the review❤️

Are you familiar with the game series “the house of the dead?”
That is such a great game!
@calebpribyl5152 Im not. Never heard of it😅Might have to check out at some point.
Enjoyed the review but I am going to pass on this one. How are you doing today and how was your weekend?
All good. Maybe you’ll come around when it’s streaming🤷🏾♂️ I am great. Had a great weekend and I hope you have a great one!
@@TJBillups How often do you stream and when is your next stream. I will check it.
I don’t stream. I will at some point lol
3 stories sound a bit more tolerable over the run time. That's one thing that faded me at first. But, dammit you got my eye caught on this one. Enjoyed the review bro! - Mod
Thank you for tuning in as always🫡 you definitely gotta have an open mind going into this, because it’s a damn trip😅
Yeah I enjoyed myself but each story felt incomplete. Like right when we’re ramping to to the crescendo it ends which threw me each time. Overall though I did enjoy it and loved the performances
True. Maybe Yorgos didn’t care for the endings too much and just wanted to get his point across lol. I still enjoyed it too🙂Thanks for tuning in!
Been hearing a lot of interesting movies and from you and Dave calling it a WTF Movie LMAO i def do want to check it out but yeah sounds very convoluted with 3 stories in one, great review man
I think it’s worth a watch, but it will leave your jaw on the floor and your mind in a state of awe🥴
Everyone reviews is like, wth is this ish. I'm excited to experience it myself
Oh it’s definitely an experience hahaha
