i don't think lydia is coming out anymore...she's been removed from any website you could pre-order her from and even the BTS AXN's website no longer has her anywhere... that's probably why beetlejuice figure has the spider accessory meant to be with Lydia, since she was more of a main character then the sandworm was
If there's one thing I can say about these figures it would be this: it's about time. These are the figures that we all wanted as kids, well close enough, I'm sure we would have settled for the usual fair back then with the the basic five joint articulation. My point is that up until now both this and Back to the Future the series got very poor treatment when it came to toys seeing as how all we got were those dinky little fast food toys from McDonald's and Burger King. I really appreciate the fact that someone is finally giving them the toy treatment that they deserve because they really were great shows and these new action figures for both of them look awesome so far.
Only took over 25 years but this figure makes me excited as a kid!!!! Absolutely love the toon, the movie and game boy game! Now I can have Mr. BJ himself in my collection next to Freddy/ Jason! Now if only we can get a Lydia figure!
If they stick with the plan we r getting Lydia n her normal red dress thingy then without the red dress , , n supposably both come with the spider 🤷 Betelgeuse didn't even come with the sandworm which is aggervating , I don't need 3 spiders lol

Is it ironic a sloppy character has a sloppy paint job? The bug accessory gets the right colors, but the action figure doesn't. Yeah...that makes sense.
The top hat and cane is a reference to the first episode where they actually have a musical number where Beetlejuice spawns a top hat (and literal tails.)
The skin tone def bugs me , loyal subjects just doesn't care much anymore about what they release , my store had 2 , they employee took the one I tried getting them to ring for me n it was the better of the 2 , so had to go back n grab the other , paint is so sloppy n runs everywhere n marks all over , regardless I have been wanting this forever , we have been needing animated Betelgeuse figures forever , so I'm happy about that , nice Betelgeuse voice by the way lol
Sure, the paint is far from perfect, the joins seem a little loose and brittle (but don't break, yet at least), the gaps between joints are sometimes too wide, and the choice for the skin color is.. interesting. BUT... Bst Axn are cheap, the figures that they do have are from characters that you usually can't get, so if you want an animated Beetlejuice, this ia literally the best you can get And most important, they do have a certain retro charm to them, they feel more like a toy, and not in a bad way, but somewhat nostalgic. Also the neon pink skin color kinda grew on me, and again, bst axn figures are cheap so even if you're disappointed you won't lose much. Posed like he's biting the beetle is the best, really looks cool, despite seeming kinda bad while in the box, but the box looks great Also you get an extra character, so if you're a 90's kid who liked this cartoon, this is a pretty cool figure
Its odd that Ginger is better looking than Beetlejuice. I am also happy with him but the quality is really low in both articulation and paint. But i try to see it like a figure that time skiped from the 90s to today....this guy looks pretty close to the Addams Familly figures from 95, is like a Playmates canceled proyect bring back to life.
My mom absolutely hated the show lol I remember watching it as a kid and she would get pissed at me and change the channel, she thought he was very vulgar and gross because he did the arm pit farting thing and eating bugs etc. Lol
I'm feeling that disappointment that most fans are on this figure.. Way too much pink on that skin tone and when you zoom in you can really see how sloppy the suit paint applications are!! That's 2 reasons enough for me to just hold out and wait for a better figure to surface elsewhere.. 🤷♂️
Will they also be producing a toy Doomie that'll fit both him and a Lydia?
