As a low-income white guy living in America, in a racially diverse state, I can attest first-hand that there has been this general uptick in hostility towards me when I am out in public, running errands or purchasing goods. I get it from people of various races, including other (younger/wealthier) whites. I was born in 1980, yet I am constantly referred to as a "boomer" and assumed to be a right-wing, Trump supporting gun toting racist by people who literally just met me and know nothing about me other than my race. I lived through the 80's and the 90's and I have seen the post-911 world come to form. At no time in my life have I encountered the level of hostility that I receive today from complete strangers, people who ironically never have actually faced any of the bigotry and intolerance that they dish out on a daily basis. African Slave studies, particularly in America, are watered down and told from a bias perspective to remove the inglorious aspect from it. As a low-income white guy living in America, in a racially diverse state, I can attest first-hand that there has been this general uptick in hostility towards me when I am out in public, running errands or purchasing goods. I get it from people of various races, including other (younger/wealthier) whites. I was born in 1980, yet I am constantly referred to as a "boomer" and assumed to be a right-wing, Trump supporting gun toting racist by people who literally just met me and know nothing about me other than my race. I lived through the 80's and the 90's and I have seen the post-911 world come to form. At no time in my life have I encountered the level of hostility that I receive today from complete strangers, people who ironically never have actually faced any of the bigotry and intolerance that they dish out on a daily basis. The irony is palpable.

African Slave studies, particularly in America, are watered down and told from a bias perspective to remove the inglorious aspect from it. African History was removed as part of the SEASONING process (name changes, no speaking native language, no passing down traditions... beatings to induce psychological control) which is why most African American no longer have direct ties to their people in Africa. We all know that without African American History, American "White" History would not exist. Black were in America as indentured servants before the slave trade begin. America would not have won the Revolutionary War without African Americans. America would not have been able to build the economy without African American slaves. So, it's impossible to separate Black History from White History.

In the unlikely event that there are any statues of Hitler and Stalin surviving in Europe, they should be left, because like them or loathe them they were important historical figures. Same goes for Robert E. Lee. He became a slave owner by chance when his father in law left him an estate which was run by a couple of dozen slaves, but there were also instructions that the slaves were to be freed within 5 years. In 1862 they were released as per instructions. The civil war still had three years to run.

Well, you know... I firmly believe in everybody being equal, but there is an inconvenient truth. Go ahead and compare what whites (or Europe) have achieved and what blacks (or Africa) have achieved. Sure, many problems might be rooted in Africas generally worse economic conditions (regionally very pronounced lack of agricultural land and water) and many modern European achievements might be attributed to a singular breakthrough, the steam engine, that single-handedly put Europe way in front of everybody else.
But that would be simplifying things too much. We know about ancient highly developed civilizations on African soil, and while it is natural for civilizations to break down, there should have been a remainder of something. Like there was/is in China or Japan which lost their ancient empires, but quickly came back with another ones.
You may accuse "whiteness" of being bland, boring, geeky etc. (I do as well sometimes, within reason!), but it is a straight fact that whiteness, in terms of a post-enlightenment society, and its many adaptions are the road to success, prosperity and decent living, while indigenous(-style) societies, no matter how "romantic" they might be, follow the road to stagnation or demise. Evidence of this could be seen by everybody with their own eyes, but you would have to open them and accept what youre seeing.
I wouldn't care 40 000 years surviving in Australia's often harsh conditions 'stagnation or demise'.
