If history is any judge, NYC will eventually come back. The only real question is, WHEN?? After living and working in NY for nearly 30-years, this much is certain... the entire city has been so devastated, not by by any virus, but by Governor Cuomo the Idiot, I theorize that it will take AT LEAST 10-YEARS before it returns to anything near its former glory, and you can quote me on that. Most of the great restaurants, some of them thriving here for nearly a century (like "Patsy's," Sinatra's favorite Italian place), have been permanently put out of business, with many more never to return. What has happened is unprecedented and there is no model to consult as to what the long term effects of the measures taken are going to produce. The guy with the funny glasses is making some very good points and should be viewed from a much broader perspective than just what is happening in New York.
If they cared they wouldn't be rich, inequity has never been a good thing.
NYC needs full republican government to recover or it never will
As does the entire country.
Why isn’t Bloomberg speaking up? Luckily when I lived in NY, it was under Guilliani. When I went to school there, it was under Koch. Guilliani fixed a lot of the problems. The major issue is that anyone who would vote republican will not stay around until the next mayoral election.
Riots, crime, disease, corruption, high cost of living, why would anyone live in that hellhole.
you forgot the stench
Seinfeld takes a limo around those neighborhoods to get to his deluxe apartment in the sky.
Don't feed the trolls!
@Morpheus Fishburn Basically..
So why is there a demorat party? The party that destroys everything that you put them in charge of. NYC was fine when RUDY was mayor’ so what happened to the people? You start voting for people that wanted to change and it’s been downhill every since WTF happen?
Good for you James Keep pumping it out
Mr Altrucher has actual business and real life experience. Jerry is an actor.
To the guest. Lower taxes for a start. They are way too high for property owners.
Like Los Angeles and San Francisco, NYC offers nothing. Too expensive, too foul, too ridiculous.
Yes, All you say is correct. All major cities are S__t holes.
@tonytrader Yes, I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. TY
@tonytrader Yes, TRUMP 2020
@tonytrader really? Try out a republican rural area. Aside from the privacy, things are going downhill fast. As long as the lockdowns are going, every where is crumbling.
Don't forget to add too Liberal.
Who cares what Seinfeld has to say.
Kinda funny that the guy who wrote the op ed has Krammer’s hairdo
I still can't believe what happened to the mighty Detroit...
Import the third world, become the third world.
If America needed an enema, NYC is where they would put the hose.
No, it will go into the Ozarks of Missouri!!
Love it! Lol.
or california
Cali next
So what body part is Florida lol?
Seinfeld is filthy rich, he doesn't mind blowing his money on taxes
And if things get dicey and dangerous, he can always hop on a plane and take off to one of his other homes. People like Seinfeld seem to lack the empathy to realize that's not an option for almost everyone else.
Sad but true! Guess Jerry is just hopeful for revival!
Gahahahaha. So now rich people don’t care about taxes? Jeebus you don’t think
Who cares what Jerry “irrelevant” Seinfeld has to say?
Good point .
Mediocre , quirky comic.
Made a fortune playing make believe
Who CARES what that totally out of touch , insulated horses arse thinks .
I sure don't .
I gotta agree. He hasn't been relevant since 1998. A baby born in 1998 is old enough to buy alcohol today.
this is why only fox is covering this
You rock Maria!!
Mind you Jerry is writing this from his home in the hamptons, quite a hypocrite.
But your EMTs or Firefighters can’t afford to live in the city .
Maybe they will when rents come way down. Of course they may not want to with all of the violent crime and homeless masturbators.
TheWarmotor 😂😂😂 homeless masturbators
@@JGW-im3nf I was trying to think of something clever to say, but nothing cums to mind.
The tax payers gone, essential workers gone, I guess you got only the blood sucking politician ,the homeless and welfare people stay!
@@luochi1465 It's true ... all takers, and no makers.
Not exactly a recipe for success.
Seinfeld humiliated himself with his personalised comments.
He's a prick
He still loves Bill Cosby too.
Not funny at all...goof to be exact
If history is any judge, NYC will eventually come back. The only real question is, WHEN?? After living and working in NY for nearly 30-years, this much is certain... the entire city has been so devastated, not by by any virus, but by Governor Cuomo the Idiot, I theorize that it will take AT LEAST 10-YEARS before it returns to anything near its former glory, and you can quote me on that. Most of the great restaurants, some of them thriving here for nearly a century (like "Patsy's," Sinatra's favorite Italian place), have been permanently put out of business, with many more never to return. When the history books write of the way the US government dealt with this issue, it will rate among the biggest crimes, failures, and mistakes of the 21st century.
