That's a pretty cool little knife. Definitely got that James bond vibe. Great video 👍

If the blade derails pull it all the way out gripping the sides of the blade and it will click back into place. Works with all OTF knives 👍🏼

Good to know, thanks for the tip!

That’s a cool little guy. I’ve carried a ultratech for about three years now as my work edc. Just more to have as a fun fidget toy. Check out the Exocet if you get the chance, I think you will like the build quality on that one. Plus if you can find them you can get some “Star Wars” inspired ones, even ones that are light sabers.
    Thanks for sharing this one,
    Ben

Just subscribed since Tri-state recommended your channel. Watched a few vids. Good content. My only criticism is please, oh please, stop saying ...umm. I get it we all do it upon occasion; you do it a Lot. As criticisms go it's pretty petty and as I said the content is good so -thanks!

Haha I’m trying, I promise. Thanks for the feedback and checking it out though!

I was gonna say to check out AKC. The f16 is probably the best budget otf available, pound for pound. The Evo Xtreme is my favorite knife that I own. It's genuinely a pleasure to open and close, and it looks stunning. I call that one my dress knife. That's what I was gonna say. Then you mentioned living in commiefornia where only the criminals have rights. In that case, I recommend either moving or carrying whatever knife you want. The people you'll need it against will be carrying whatever they want. Get a tomahawk. Or a 1911. Or better yet, move to somewhere better. Literally anywhere.

Hey fyi if you want a rock solid otf but don't wanna play microtech price, the Lightning Elite can't be beat! It's 35 bucks and lasts forever.

Thanks for the heads up, that looks pretty great!

The quality and durability depends on the maker. The Gavin Hawk Deadlock has no blade play and is heavy duty but costs $1000+. I have several Microtechs that I’ve used hard and never had issues but you do have to keep them oiled. I suggest the Guardian Tactical Recon 035 for your next OTF. Minimal blade play and very good durability. However, I don’t think Guardian Tactical has anything that’s California legal.

That Gavin Hawk Deadlock sounds awesome. Guardian Tactical definitely has some great option, unfortunately I’m pretty sure your right about no California legal options though. Thanks!

Do you still use it/does it work after year? Looking for my first small OTF :]

I do, the spring has definitely gotten a bit weaker where it will misfire occasionally, especially if you rapid fire it but otherwise still works just fine. (To get it back in the track just pull the blade till it’s fully deployed and it should go back into place).

My screws came undone unexpectedly from the usb otf purple , do you happen to know the replacement size?

Sorry, I’m not sure. I know Cobratech sells replacement sets so theirs customer service may be able to point you in the right direction. My calipers are broken too so I can’t even measure mine. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, hope you’re able to find the info.
