How is this minimum's measured?
Is it measured vertically from ground leval to the altitude of flight, or tangentially to the runway end? A small doubt, thought of clearing it with you

Minimums is vertical height from sea level as reference for all non precision to cat 1 precision approach (like in CCJ) for low visibility approach the minimums is measured as absolute vertical height from the runway like 100 feet(cat2) or 50 feet(CAT3A) or literally zero for cat3B with no decision height.

Thanks for watching....though not entirely true....atleast in the airline i fly for, training is given for newbie pilots for approach and landing here. After all the one fatal crash at this airport was a landing by an experienced pilot who violated own company procedures and did not listen to his first officer. Contrary to popular myth...its not landings that are bad....its a bad approach that leads to a bad landing 100% of the times...eg also AIX 614 to mangalore. In both cases it was a bad approach that should have been a go around once they crossed the landing zone of the runway.
