@pancakewithjam being born medically dead can indeed happen, where your not breathing and your heart isn't beating due to complications in birth. You can be resuscitated at that point where they find a way depending on circumstance to get your heart beating and probably hook you up to a machine that breathes for you. @@kathyjones1576I have a similar belief! Everything we see and understand scientifically is just as intended when it was first created. The reason we can do these things is because we were meant to eventually understand more of the world for the greater good, to help those around us. The only unfortunate side effect is that when people have a choice, they can do bad things with what we were given.
Given a baby isn’t breathing just after being delivered, you do not start cpr unless you know there is no pulse. In this clip it doesn’t show him checking. You first stimulate breathing in several different ways before trying anything else.
I respect every doctor who treated their patients genuinely. Even I'm got into health field and not too interested in clinical practice (choose to get into industrial field), when patients got repectful and genuine treatment, I'm so happy to see how's humanity still exist in recent day
As a mum of an ASD teen that “ Quiet everyone, I need to concentrate!,” felt so familiar. These often brilliant minds are often filled with other conflicting mental stressors & can be distracted by numerous sensory elements. I’ve not yet seen this series but, the parts I’ve seen, seem much better than many other terrible stereotypes of ASD folks.
Im autistic myself and I hate this show because it’s so unrealistic. Dr Murphy is too socially low functioning to be able to attend university and pass it, then somehow pass residency and then become a doctor. He has meltdowns from hand dryers in the bathroom. It’s completely illogical for someone who struggles like that to be a doctor. But I will say, he does play an autistic person well. The cadence, the things he says and especially body language. The show is unfortunately, what is known as disability inspiration porn. Someone with lower functioning autistic can’t be a doctor and the idea of a savant somehow overriding that is illogical. Most autistic people don’t like this show. I think the reason why non autistic people like this show over other shows with autistic characters or unconfirmed but heavily autistic coded characters (such as Sheldon Cooper) is because Dr Murphy is wholesome, he holds an innocent energy and comes across as misunderstood but always kind & precious. He’s never insensitive then gets frustrated when people get mad at him. He doesn’t act like an ass when people treat him poorly, While autistic people can be those things, it’s not accurate. It shows angelic made up version of autism. While many of us can be wholesome intelligent beings with misunderstood whimsical innocence, most of us are also prone to being egotistical, arrogant and narcissistic. It shows only the positive sides of autism, the quirky cuteness. I was diagnosed when I was 5 and I was in the sped class with other autistics. All through out school, there was not one autistic person who didn’t show the other side: social awkwardness that isn’t cute or whimsical misunderstandings but instead a more insensitive and rude side. Example: “George, what you said was rude” “why?” “Because calling other people fat isn’t nice” “but she is fat. I was just describing her?” “We don’t say that, we say someone is large or plus sized” “that’s fucking stupid, those are different words for the same thing. Those words still mean fat. I don’t care about this social rule because it’s dumb. It shouldn’t matter if I say fat if the other words that mean still mean fat are okay. “ This gets met with a lot of backlash but that’s the reality of autism.

Not full context but I think here was a lockdown in the hospital while that happened, the woman's husband was locked out but she was still inside and before he was pulled out she told him it was a boy, that guy who helped with the baby was the son of one of one the the doctors (who he didn't really have a good relationship with at the beginning) and he was very proud of him when he found out what he did
Idk if u know this u probably do but its a tv show
The Good Doctor
the reason i could never be a doctor is people calling my work a "miracle"
Won't you be happy if ur work is a miracle
@@johnharryg4563Yeah its like saying the Burj Khalifa came out of a miracle

He is such a good actor. Though I have not been diagnosed, I am certain I am on the spectrum and my step sons are. He projects autism so well. You can hear how overwhelmed and unsure he is. But he is thinking logically and using his training to calm himself.
“ He’s drowning “ the way he says it so calmly I love Shaun
Murphy sweats his ass off to save them both , grandma - “ a Christmas miracle “
He’s a dedicated doctor for sure!
He didn’t want the baby to grow up without a mother
And didn’t want the mother to live without her baby
it is a miracle. He literally saved a baby's life
"Dont press too hard or else you'll crush his heart" he said calmly
That ain't no damn miracle. That was hard work
Ok bud
@@theshowhost7253 bro pulling any amount of hard work someone's done and saying it's a miracle is just dumb that's spitting in the face of the person that worked. Unless it's an impossible situation or there was no human intervention, then it's a miracle
It was hard work but the miracle was that it worked. There are times hard work is put in and it doesn't work. God uses people to do miracles. There is nothing wrong with that.

As a father myself, the couple seconds after my daughter came out of the birth canal and before she did her first cry were the most agonizing seconds of my life.
I hate when people say „oh thanks god, it’s miracle” when they should thank the doctors because it’s them and their amazing skills that saved the patient, not a mysterious miracle
Doctors: work hard under an extremely stressful, life or death situation that takes up all their skills and quick thinking, incredibly managing to save both a mother and her baby
People: Wow its a miracle and god is the one that saved them!!
You're telling me there wasnt a single extra nurse or doctor nearby inside the hospital?
They were in a lockdown bc of a virus so no doctors could get in and the other ones were infected I believe (I could get episodes wrong but I'm 99% sure)
@@Heyyy630 can u please tell the name of this series?

"QUIET EVERYONE QUIET! I NEED TO CONCENTRATE." Dr. Shawn Murphy got real mad. And even if he isnt mad he is still the miracle. The type of doctor that is so concentrated on his job. The type of doctor to not let anyone bleed out, die, or not even make it out alive.
It was surprising for me. Shawn almost never raised his voice, so when he does it’s shocking to an extent 😮

He's a resident with autism . Most people still believe autistic people can't do a job as difficult as surgery . Dr. Shaun is a genious and yet they never trust his judgment??
Alot of people hate the fact some people say "it's a miracle" they think it discredits the doctors hard work. But in actuality the miracle IS in a way. The doctor himself being able to save someone with his hard work. The doctor saved the patient with his hard work, that is the miracle
My thoughts exactly. I believe God created people to be doctors so they can perform miracles like this.
They got big egos and want the praise. They want everyone to acknowledge it and not a single person can attribute it as a miracle.
Shawn’s a miracle worker❤❤
My autistic man faught like hell there to save both the mom and baby.
Patient relative: "A Christmas miracle"
Given a baby isn’t breathing just after being delivered, you do not start cpr unless you know there is no pulse. In this clip it doesn’t show him checking. You first stimulate breathing in several different ways before trying anything else.
Hey bud it's not meant to be real just meant to have a meaning
I respect every doctor who treated their patients genuinely. Even I'm got into health field and not too interested in clinical practice (choose to get into industrial field), when patients got repectful and genuine treatment, I'm so happy to see how's humanity still exist in recent day
"Don't press to hard or you will crush his heart"💀 i feel bad for the guy who gave CPR to the baby😭
The fact that this guy is a genius but no one ever thinks he is
As a mum of an ASD teen that “ Quiet everyone, I need to concentrate!,” felt so familiar.
Example: “George, what you said was rude”
“why?”
“Because calling other people fat isn’t nice”
“but she is fat. I was just describing her?”
“We don’t say that, we say someone is large or plus sized”
“that’s fucking stupid, those are different words for the same thing. Those words still mean fat. I don’t care about this social rule because it’s dumb. It shouldn’t matter if I say fat if the other words that mean still mean fat are okay. “
This gets met with a lot of backlash but that’s the reality of autism.
