The actor acts way more like how a child with autism would. Not how an adult with autism would. “I am a surgeon” comes to mind. It’s not that good of a portrayal, just like most purposely-autistic characters. The best portrayals of autism always end up being the characters who weren’t written as autistic, but show signs of it. Because they just act like people. Not a caricature of autism

And at least with the former, I don't think that's a coincidence. Lawyers also use this tactic as well, either not using a name or deliberately using a name to reduce or increase the ability for the jury to empathize with said person.

So when he was talking about what inspired him to be a doctor, it was his rabbit & his brother, because they never got to grow up.
Finding out I'm on the spectrum in middle age - I reflect on my unguarded altruism as a thing some spotted and took advantage of. I haven't seen this show but the shorts are giving me the jist. It hasn't been easy for him.

You’ll come across people who are rude, narcissistic and incompetent. You’ll have a much higher chance of developing ptsd or other mental health disorders some of which may make you deemed unfit to keep working. If you become a surgeon it’s likely people will die in front of you potentially even because of a mistake you made or something you missed. Sometimes you may do nothing wrong and they’ll die anyway. There’s other fields that pay just as well too. I’m not saying don’t get into it but you need to have a certain mindset and drive to be able to persist in a medical industry.
He is a genuine physician by birth. And he fight for it with integrity. A gifted one in the universe, mostly they called it "Genius" with a big G. God is love direction.

Then i move her in US with my husband and i was so bored and wanting to move back to Philippines. Until one day i met another Pilipino and asked me if i want to work as a Caregiver and i said yes. My first day in my work is the best day for me, it is a hard work but im always happy to help other people; then i thought about being Military or Dr. who save many lives is nothing to compare!
