This could include the removal of multiple attractions over the next couple of years in favor of something new. Let's discuss!

Universal Studios is not allowed to demolish ET's Adventure the reason it's still there to stay is because of Steven Spielberg who was very upset that universal demolished the other 2 ET Adventures so from what I heard he told universal to keep that one or the reputation between him and universal would be destroyed.
ET should stay. It's a classic and the only opening day attraction left.
Imagine a Voltron-style Mack Stryker coaster replacing HRRR, that would be awesome!
It's a great idea, I'd just worry about it being too similar to the new Starfall Racers. Maybe not, cause it'd only be one track vs two, but it would be an awesome experience I'm sure!
@@CoasterStudiosit would be able to have that vertical launch aswell, so i dont think its that different from the intamin idea. Going mack might make sense seeing how voltron is also build on a pretty small and tight plot of land.
Personally i d go for an extreme spinner. It would be a lot more unique in their line up

About the potential changes, I’m sure Universal is eager to give its “home” (Castle?😬) park in Florida some love once Epic opens. All these ideas sound awesome-but a *vertical launch* on a new Rip Ride is the best!

Imagine rip ride Rocket being replaced by like a mack mini higher like a mini version of DC rivals but made to fit the space, and it could also have a non inverted loop
I was there last year and rip ride rocket was very rough
not a bad idea! It would certainly feel different enough from Mako. I think the main thing would making the layout feel different enough from Starfall Racers, since that has some crazy airtime hills and whippy moments.

The presentation of this video is off. the. charts. Absolutely fantastic work - I feel like I’m a kid again and watching a show on the Travel Channel. You could’ve easily made this a talking head video with a bit of B-roll and no one would’ve had any issue. But instead, you bless us with this masterpiece. Bravo! Keep it up!

Although I was surprised you didn’t talk about MIB as that’s another ride that people always think is going away and is just hanging out there all by itself. I would be extremely sad though as it’s one of my favorites. But I totally agree with you…massive changes are going to be coming to that park!

HRRR was where my love for Rush was solidified. One of the hidden songs was Temples of Syrinx and having that playing while riding that rollercoaster was a match made in heaven. It was magic.

I'd keep an eye on how well the Twisters movie does this summer. The franchise has a prior history at the park. Could be a great theme for a new coaster or dark ride! But also Fast and Furious deserves a coaster if it's gonna have any sort of attraction at all.

I can only imagine doctor brown going back in time when he sold the bttf ride to krusty and pulls the deal off saying "it wasn't gonna last forever anyhow" and going back to the future to announce he "reopening" the bttf ride
I propose replacing Fast & Furious with a Universal version of The Great Movie Ride with scenes from (e.g.) Earthquake, Jaws, Twister, Back to the Future and Backdraft. It would be a great tribute to both the movies themselves and the attractions that were based on them (which, for theme park fans, are much loved and much missed classics in their own right).

Hope they replace HRRR with an Intamin Mega coaster, similar to Kondaa, and (why not) with a vertical launch! The touch of usong the exterior walk to expand the potential new coaster area is simply great!

As for the park, I've never been across the pond yet, but a vertical launch to pay homage while adding some thrill sounds like a great plan for replacing RRR

Love this in-park talking-head format from you both - fantastic production as always! I'd be amazing to have a vertically-launched Intamin replace HRRR, while keeping the ring structure of the original. I'll never understand how F&F Supercharged's "party bus" theme got approved by UC - hopefully it gets replaced with a spinning drift coaster. Just nothing too intense - not knocking Gringotts - but Studios really needs a proper **family coaster.**
It's also been up for debate about the Jimmy Falon ride since I've heard that it is not beloved

As someone who’s at universal 5 days a week. Rockit is down more then it’s open. There will be days where it doesn’t open for one reason or another. If it’s too windy, too cold, even if it looks like rain. It genuinely has so many problems that people don’t realize
I would not cry if HRRR were removed. Probably my biggest disappointment from my Orlando trip last fall.
It’s not Universal caliber.

That park needs some work, its honestly almost a skip for me most times and if I do go its basically just for Diagon Alley.
Rip Ride Rocket is painful to ride, not a fan and honestly also skip it most times.
I like MIB and Mummy is solid, and I like the city theming in those areas of the park, but eh to the rest of the rides.
Whatever could replace rip ride.. I just hope it's a better layout, better capacity, or an immersive theme

i will be so so sad to see hollywood rrr go. i have such a soft spot for that one because it was the first large-scale coaster (bigger than thunder mtn, journey to atlantis, etc.) that i ever rode and i love it to this day 🥺
Unless you have some inside knowledge, I'd be surprised if HRRR is removed. I think it's a great and unique ride. If they want a new coaster, there's plenty of room at the back of the park or where other dark rides could be removed.

As a Floridian, I find some pride in the fact that newer rides are being added. If it were up to me, the coaster to replace Rip Ride Rocket should be a 4D coaster. There are only three of them so far, and it would be nice to see one on the East Coast.
But given the limited space to work with, they might want a layout/type that works well in limited space. Sure, they could add struts to the lack to stretch the track out more, and coasters going over water is always fun. But water and metal don't exactly like each other very much, and is something that is probably best kept to a minimum to avoid unnecessary maintenance costs, and to extend the life of the coaster.
All I know is that as the end comes, we should probably do a Farwell-Ride Day gathering to give Rip Ride that proper farewell that all coasters deserve before they go up into that vast and twisting track up in the sky.
We were there last week. Our concierge associate told us to make sure to ride Rip Ride Rocket as it is being replaced by a minion ride in the next year and a half. Not sure how valid that is but, make sense.

I've come to realize how ideal it is to live in Orlando if you like theme parks.
Not only do you have all the best parks open year round, but you get really cheap flights to all the other parks in the country.

I feel like we need more videos like this where Sarah talks the same amount as Taylor instead of Sarah being a side-kick. I think this format works well for the channel as well. Big compliments to you both.
The last time we went to Studios we did The Mummy, the horror makeup show, and that was it. We tried to ride Gringotts but it kept breaking down. It's kind of a sad park right now and I hope it gets some love after Epic Universe opens!

I read that now Disneyland resort wants to do a major expansion. I don’t know when or if it will happen but I find it interesting they are doing this now that universal is expanding! They are calling it Disneyland Forward

I hope you’ll read this, there’s something I want to say. I won’t talk about the items you’re discussing ‘cause you know way more about them than me. But I’d like to give 1 small tip for your video work, since the videos are great and the quality of your work seems to be going up. (This is meant as positive feedback and not criticism as you guys are awesome and I thank you for the free content.) Some amazing shots, slow motion, framing is awesome, editing is on point and I love the use of gimbals. But there are some panning shots that are less desirable to watch. Not all of them, like 08:37 the pan was fine. I’m talking about 03:47. To fast, not so nice to watch. I noticed the same in the video about Global Village Dubai, there you had a zoomed in pan that was moving too quick and therefor frustrating on the eyes. Make sure your pans are slow and the shots are wide.

Imagine if they brought back the classic rides, like updated versions of Back to the Future or Jaws...
I think they could replace Supercharged while keeping the building as well as the Fast & Furious theme and retrofit the building for a coaster. The coaster could be the exact same one that’s going to Hollywood, but obviously with a different layout and it would have the cars that can rotate to mimic drifting like the one in Hollywood is going to have. The layout could start inside and the building and go outside for part of the layout and ending up back in the building to finish the layout.
i dont see HRRR leaving any time soon, it consistently has a 45-60 minute wait every time ive ridden it, its a crowd eater. yes its janky, but its a GP magnet. Also in relation to ET, the reason they dont remove it, is because Stephen Speilberg threatened to cut all ties with Universal if it was removed. idk how accurate that is but ive heard it from quite a few people
If they want to replace RRR with something that pays homage to the vertical lift, I have a suggestion. First, they should pick a better themed attraction but that is still thrilling. So how about a Universal IP themed take on Schwur des Karnan! They could build a tower, have a show scene inside plus the surprises, and then that layout and a final show scene at the end. That would become SUPER popular. I'm sure it would need some modifications. But it'd be great.
I believe if USF would've kept some of, the old attractions like JAWS or Kong Frontation, along with Dagon Alley.USF attendance would be on the of Island of Adventure
Mario at epic universe, Zelda/Hyrule retheme of the lost continent and Some kind of Pallet town replacing Springfield and detective pikachu ride… sounds like a good plan to me!

I think HRRR should be replaced with either an intamin vertical launch or megacoaster, the simpsons ride and area could be replaced with either a BTTF or pokemon area, and F&F stupidcharged could be replaced with a new version of disaster: a major motion picture starring you (but maybe as a rollercoaster?)
I know its a bit of stretch but a mack spinner would be amazing in rip ride rockets plot of land they would have to make it diffrent from the werewolf coast at epic though.
How do the stages of Fear Factor and the music plaza compare? I wish they'd build an indoor coaster or really experiment with lightning safe structure. It could be themed to look like NYC skyline but Comcast would never pay for it. They prefer to accept the money for guests then close so much for the 3 hours nearly every day from June to September for afternoon thunderstorms---wouldn't be so bad but the parks close at 8 (average out 7pm and 9pm) Already USF is the summer storm park since basically IOA shutters nearly every day during rainy season. for several hours.
It most likely won’t happen but this summer the Twister sequel is coming out and it would be great to make a dark ride for it

When I was at Universal Studios in August 2022, there were a bunch of "suits" hanging out around Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket looking at it and taking about it. It definitely gave off "something is going to happen with this ride" vibes.
Jimmy Fallon and Fast and Family need to be the first ones gone.
I hope that Rockit can stay so that I can marathon it till the end of time!
If HRRR is gone, put a vertical LSM coaster in with a proper vertical drop (intamin, zierer, or gerstlauer)
I'd wager it only gets such crowds these days because it comes in the package with their world class theme park next door. The park seems to have dropped off. None of those attractions seem very memorable or exciting.

When they took away “kick start my heart” from rockit, a piece of me died. Now id be all for replacing it as long as its a new coaster.
i would love to see rip ride replaced by simply a better coaster. something thrilling and signature like how flying dino, velocicoaster, and the fast n furious coaster are. it would also be cool to see it literally themed to universal studios the company.
