This is my crappy install video of the m4 carbon slip on exhaust for my 2020 MT09 this video has been chopped to hell, my next video will be much better this was pretty rushed so anyway here we are, enjoy!
@@DL-sy5fv my first thought when I heard an MT/FZ for the first time was “what the heck was that” cause it sounded awesome! Doesn’t sound like your normal 4cylinder or a normal 2cylinder it sounds like a triple, I can pick an MT09 out of a crowd of bikes! Everybody I’ve talked to about my bike asks what pipe I’m running and what headers I have cause it sounds awesome
Dookin with Dan so I actually spoke with the company dynojet about this and you don’t need to have a tune for this bike when you install a slip on and it’s because the header pipes are very good on these bikes! But if you end up buying one (a tuner) anyway you can use any of the full system tunes atleast with any of the power commanders! I bought to vision pro 3 I think it is and it works great I would recommend going with the vision pro

@@steezyfz6227 I want to get the M4 slip on if an ECU flash is not required. I am getting older and pops and crackles are not things that my ears enjoy at all anymore.
@@DL-sy5fv ecu flash or retune is not required with the m4 slip on! This bike has a feature on the engine which will burn access fuel making a popping or crackle while off throttle, with the baffle out you can definitely hear this, I would suggest leaving the baffle in in your case

Just got my mt09 and love the sound of the m4. I'm just worried about my new neighbors. Does it idle pretty loudly, especially over stock?
Hell with the neighborhood. Just don’t romp on it when you’re in the neighborhood and keep it in 2nd

Beings it’s a 3cyl it sounds like a 3cyl.. the mt09 has a truly unique sounding engine

If I had to say when it sounds the most like a twin is Down low in the rpm and like a 4 up way high in the rpm

What map did u install?
In a comment above I spoke on tuning a bit but I installed the tune for the yoshi full system for a short period before I got it tuned

@@steezyfz6227 I had a MT07 + M4 slip on ( baffle in) and had to remap the ecu . I did not feel any bennefit other than no more pops and crackles.
