I hope you enjoy this new rendition of Fields Of Gold. The accompaniment aka Mr Dominic Ferris allowed me to express the song more and make it my own. This coupled with Darcey Redman's beautiful dancing ( in particular in the instrumental sections) in my mind has given me the perfect mix for this live performance. Massive thankyou to all involved and a big 'Salamat' to all my Filipino supporters who came to the concert in Manila.

Pure GOLD, Luca. Living in rural Essex, there is nothing better than walking through fields of barley in the high summer. The lyrics describe a love story between a loving couple, but for me, the song is all about a loving relationship with life itself. Great performance by Darcey, I would love to have been in the audience. What a stunning venue. Thanks, Luca, Dominic, Darcey, Mandi and team.👏👏.
Just one teensy criticism, nothing to do with Luca's singing, but I feel Darcey's part would have come across better if she had stuck to pure classical ballet, rather than contemporary ballet with the additional gymnastics. I might be wrong, as others may have loved it as choreographed. I can see that Darcey is a fine dancer, but although there is a place for combined ballet and gymnastics, I feel that it didn't match the mood of this wonderful love song. Nevertheless, very entertaining by both artists, and there is no right or wrong when choreographing for popular music.💝

Although originally sung by Sting, this version by Luca was absolutely stunning. You have the most pure voice Luca and you sang it your own way and it's one of my favourite songs so far. Well done!! 😀

I moved my cinema visit to earlier in the day, so I would be home for the premiere of the Manilla version of Fields of Gold and happy I did, even though I could watch it at a different time, I want to be there when a great song is released. This is a great version Luca. Different from the album version, but much more accessible for people that aren't into classical music. Definitely looking forward to all the other songs you are going to release and of course the new album.

Thankyou for your comment. Darcey is an exceptional dancer. This was a live show in Manila and dance was very much needed in particular for some of the long instrumental interludes. This was very much Darceys time to shine , not mine and I standby her performance. Afterall, most professional performances all around the world will have either backing singers or dancers.
