    In all these interviews with people who were close or even met Taylor, nobody has said anything negative about him at all. He really was a living legend and an everyman who was just a nice guy. So sad.

      Yep,.. the only negative that most don’t want to talk about is his selfishness of preferring to do drugs than thinking about his 3 kids and wife

    • @CreedBrattonTheOffice
      @CreedBrattonTheOffice 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well unless you're a real a-hole of a human you don't talk about the negatives of the person that just died. But most of the people being interviewed probably didn't see many if any of the negatives of Taylor so not worth mentioning when it's well out-weighed by the good.

      @@mixbassdj do you know all the details? There's drug use and there's drug abuse... Booze is a lot of times a lot worse. I am not very informed about Taylor and the Foo's, but watching some video's from Taylor in the period just before his death don't show him as a junk. Maybe sometimes he took something recreational. Most of the time that does very little harm (less than drinking). I don't know the details here. There's nearly no info. It sounds like a horrible accident to me. Maybe someone brought him some really bad stuff...

    Thank you for your kind words, Brian. I am so tired of everyone hammering so hard on how Taylor possibly died and forgetting to mention anything about how he lived. What a wonderful spirit he was and he shared his love with everyone he spent time with. Life is never about how we die, whether we struggle with physical or mental illnesses or if we just pass in a moment or in our sleep, we should not be defined by how we die. Life is about how we lived, about the dreams we had and how we made others around us feel and I think Taylor did well on those fronts. May his spirit fly free and watch over those he loved. He is going to have to be part of the band that is playing at my welcoming ceremony when I cross over. There is going to be a whole lot of drummers, guitar players and singers there, it will be the best party ever. If you are not there yet playing your heart out for me Brian, I promise I will be at your welcoming party having the best time any girl could ever have. I wouldn't miss it for anything.

    All of the people in all the very many videos I've been watching, they all say he was like family and that they felt an instant bond when they first meet.. Even Dave said that and they were like brother's in no time.. I also watched a video that his personal driver did and he was in tears because their family's did so many things together.. They went to Disneyland and sometimes Taylor took them to concert's in different countries. He said those same word's about Taylor n him having a special bond right away.. Ya, Taylor was like an angel here on earth, flying all over bringing people laughter, light and love everywhere he went, including, heaven.. Love ❤️😥😘

    Interesting that Brian said Taylor talked about "the joys and frustrations of being in the Foo Fighters". Were there some issues within the band? Someone also posted stills from that 666 movie the Foo's did and Taylor didn't join in with the Pearl Jam type high fives with the others. There's also that clip of them accepting an award not long before he died and he did seem a bit hyper. Whatever the truth his loss is a very sad one.

    • @alef3224

      @@nycvideoauditions honestly, I have no idea about the exact dynamics in the band. I’ve started up a business with my best friend and two other friend. It’s been going on for ten years. Its a social enterprise so we’re not making much money anyway. But would I continue if my best friend died? Well, we’ve built up this business together and she would want it to continue for our clients. Also, Grohl and the Foos invested 25 years in a brand. I know this sounds capitalist, but it’s also a business this band and makes hell of a lot of money and Dave Grohl is nothing short of a proper manager and business man. It’ll be very interesting what he’ll decide to do. I think he’ll take a long time off. At least two years, try out solo stuff and how that makes him feel, and then reconsider. But I think there’s a good chance they aren’t over. But they have to grief of course and that’ll take a long time 💜

    • @janes.1559
      @janes.1559 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Rufus is the only one who could fit. Pat has lost a seminole band member pretty much every 20 years, Darcy, Kurt and now Taylor. We all know what Dave has been through. I cant see Dave not being in a band. I also dont know how he could get through songs. Its just horrible on every level, but if they can continue, Rufus would be the one.

    • @alef3224
      @alef3224 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I do have full faith in Dave to work through the grief and continue. He seems to have secure attachment (most likely a bit on the dismissive avoidant side), has a loving family and friends, has always gotten back on his feet again after tragedies, and he’ll do it again this time. Maybe he doesn’t want to do the Foos anymore. Maybe his main inspiration/fun truly was Taylor. But to be honest, that wouldn’t be like Grohl. Grohl is independent (and not codependent). I don’t think he was only keeping the Foos going because of his love for Taylor. There’s other things he loved and loves about that band and working in that band. But yeah, he’s lost his brother and is probably heartbroken, devastated and possibly depressed. But he’ll get back onto his feet and then decide what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Dave is strong.
