I'm trying to ferret out what I suspect is a fuel delivery issue so I watch a lot of your videos. Your content is excellent and the information you provide is extreamly valuable. I do however have a couple of suggestions. It would be very helpful if you identified the engine you're working on, instead of just calling it a Volvo Penta. Models and years obviously vary considerably. I have a 99 5.0GL and it does not have the same fuel pump setup as the engine in this video. It appears to only have only one pump and not does it have a fuel pressure regulator that I can find; I'm not a mechanic which is why I'm watching your videos for guidance. Also, please consider shooting all of your videos in landscape mode rather than portrait. Portrait is visually limiting. Thx.
My Volvo Penta 4.3 Gxi from 2004 starts directly and runs perfectly at low speed (max 2500 to 3000 rpm)... but when I go 3500 rpm high speed he stops directly (like everything falls out). When I restart he doesn't run anymore. When I unleashed the high pressure fuel pump the fuel flow a few seconds when turning the contact key. After reinstalling the high pressure pump connection at the top and I want to start the motor runs perfect without any problem. So it means there must be falls air or mealy a electrical problem with the fuel pump a high speed... What could it be? Thank you for your advice ;-)
Thanks buddy exactly what I needed to know!

Boat runs fine but sometimes (not always) when it’s towards 1/4 tank fuel i have to give it throttle as I start it or it won’t start. Any ideas?

Thank you
what causes the low pressure pump to prime? alternator, oil switch? high psi primes but not low... running barebones on a engine stand, thanks
I only have one fuel pump. Mine is a 4.3 GL D.
No flow at all. Checked fuses and relays. Can you hear the pump when key is turned?
I see this guy don't answer any people's questions for that reason 👎don't post videos if you not going to answer any questions .
