It is nice-looking light and looks like painted aluminum. The controller seems to be sturdy, unlike others. Like you, I keep on the protective screen provided for shipping.
They look to be real good, although I have never had a Nicrew light before. Currently I'm running a couple of hygger lights and a couple of Aquarium CO-OP lights.
@@TheSalient1 I do love the CO-OP lights they do great on my planted tanks. And because I am old their light is just so simple to set. Whereas some LED lighting you need a masters degree to figure out all the settings. I like the KISS method, "Keep it simple stupid" Cuz I'm a simple person
$75 ain't bad, considering you'll be paying much more anywhere else. So these lights gradually come on and off? Also, the timer is built into the light, correct? How long until a follow-up review? Was thinking of getting this for my Frontsa. Thanks for the video buddy!
Personally I think any of their lights grow plants , that my experience as well, they all have the color spectrums and all are adjustable, so any version of these these lights as I have done a review on four different ones are all working well for me , this light is my favorite for reasons discussed in the video
The way they wired the controller is weird its not inline and it makes it bulky the two barrel connectors going into the light is weird also and the controller is cheap and feels flimsy.
I appreciate sharing your experience here, with the light that I have here, I’m not seeing that, controller is definitely in line, the plastic does not creak and crack when pressing them and responds Everytime. But I will see over time, and will address these in my follow up review!
Thanks! I need to order a couple lights and just can't decide. Thanks for the info. Good job
Glad I could help!
Nice review buddy! Looks like a decent light
Thanks buddy

Yes sunrise, sunset, timer built in
This is their best model you think for a heavy planted tank?

What happens if the power goes out? Does the controller have a battery to keep time?
Yes, the timer has an Internal memory so it can restore settings!
@@TheSalient1what about the time of day? I have the nicrew classic v2 and it loses the time but keeps the settings.
@@BassManStrikesi moved it to a different tank today , hit 24/7 on the remote and everything resumed for me
i got two of them now and they do lose the time of day, all other settings stay.
