I worked on a British games magazine in the 80's and early 90's and we didn't hold back on our opinions, as Chris said if a game was good or bad we said so. There was no censorship (unlike now), I miss the old days.

Sam Wilson's Captain America costume looks like one of those red, white, and blue rocket ice pops that they sell from ice cream trucks. It looks super fake and mascot-ty, instead of being built for practical combat. After Avengers 1, every one of Steve Roger's Cap costumes had tactical utility, and was designed to look like it.

@@AchtungEnglander that is my issue with most big studio storytelling. Blumhouse is a modern Corman if you ask me. Makes movies cheaply, gives new directors the opportunity to succeed. But most importantly they are stories first then effects later.
A24 kinda has same vibe but they are more keen on drama.
There is good storytelling happening. Just the big celebrations of everything that can be done is being stifled to appease shareholders not viewers.

I love Chris' insight on the sincerity of people who are too nice and him pointing out how people in corporate human resource departments are not out to protect their fellow employees, but the corporation employing them. Its called HUMAN resources. The name of that department literally reduces the rest of us to being a resource. My mom was in HR for a while to help make ends meet, but morally she couldnt do it and it made her miserable. You can make friends at work, but HR reps are not your friend.

Love your stream. I agree to disagree on some of the views because I work in healthcare and it’s not political it just sucks now and if people understood more of epidemiology not in a political way mandates and forced vaccination have been going on for years. Wish people could just be people who love great media and be real instead of fake. Hollywood has been disconnected with reality for a very long time. It annoys me when people say it brought culture to the tuskens. In the, now legend comic books tuskens did have a culture; they had face tattoos that were kept hidden from everyone outside of the tribe, there were tusken jedi that Anakin hated, one if the most powerful sith to ever exist was a TUSKEN RAIDER, hell one tribe even worshiped Darth Vader as a God of death. The Tuskens had good stories but Disney throw it away.

@Chris Gore ; The Graphic asset you speak of is already in SWTOR, the online game. Those Rocket Bikes from Flash Gordon, a version of that is a graphic asset for player vehicles already. They could have used any of them and there are way cooler ones. But it would have cost to much to reproduce on film.

If you want to see what Amazon's The Lord of the Rings will probably look like, see Amazon's The Wheel of Time. They pretty much butchered the books in that one.

Regarding the memory-holing of classic films (at 1:21:43 ) , and the spreading of THE MESSAGE, check out the classic GI Joe cartoon episode The Wrong Stuff. The plot involves Cobra taking over TV and flooding the airwaves with only shows that promote their social agenda. They have slanted news programs and even change some classic films to better reflect current Cobra values. It's a particularly goofy episode, but the TV segments are bitingly accurate.

He did shoot in EP5. I think he is overrated, but had a cool aura. Now they want to make him a good person, which does not fit the character all too well.

Boba Fett is an overrated character. He works as a side character not a main character. However, in ESB, he did talk back to Vader about the possibility of killing Han. Instead of just Force choking him, Vader acknowledged him and said the Empire would compensate for the loss.
