SkyVille@Dawson also has a sky garden at its 48th floor. Unlike Pinnacle, this one is completely free. It offers a much more forested, unblocked view all the way to Johor Bahru.
If you said can see sentosa is correct but not JB.

@@xiaoyao76 may not be possible as Bt Timah hill is above up north of Skyville@Dawson. No Building can be higher than bt timah hill. And woodlands also have many condo quite high and block the view.

Pinnacles @ Duxton is the first & only 50 sty high rise HDB mooted by founding PM Lee Kuan Yew. A worldwide design competition was held. There were 200 entries and the design was won by local architects Louis Tan, Khoo Peng Beng,

Sandy Ng,
Lim Khim Guan and
ARC Studio Architecture + Urbanism
in Collaboration with
RSP Architects, Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd. Even though it was a design competition, the competitors need to comply with HDB’s design regulations & requirements for the different type of apartment flat types. The construction started in 2005 and was completed in 2009. Till date it is still an icon of HDB dwelling not only in Sg. Sg’s HDB subsidized public housing is a class above many countries including developed countries.
The wet markets’ fresh produce such vegetables, meat and fish opens early from 6am and closes early at 12pm because the stall holders need to be up as early as 3am to go wholesale market to bit and select their goods. After 12pm they will need to packed and tidy up the stall take stock of balance till about 1pm-2pm then be home to rest prepare for the next day.
好得意又高又特別的市中心高級住宅，有好多雞特別是雄斗斗的可愛公雞，反而不見有喵喵汪汪，可能牠們去了做按摩，又見到小朋友和年輕人，公眾可以参觀下半空及高空花園，圍繞一周幾周都可以度步暢遊，幾好呀！😂🌺🌿

东北部的榜鹅镇与盛港镇还有水獭、猴子、野猪到处跑 🤣🤣🤣
我家楼下公园也有很雄赳赳气昂昂的公鸡和花白色漂亮的母鸡带着刚出生不久的小鸡鸡在草地上散步吃草地上小虫子,每天看到这些可爱的鸡鸡心情都会特别特别的好😊只是到了星期六星期日一早被这些公鸡雄亮的叫声吵醒时真的是气到火冒三丈😂😂😂
作为从小在新加坡长大的新加坡人，我到现在都没有机会亲自上去观赏这栋享名全世界的住宅建筑。感谢爱玲小妹带我们参观。❤
我也没去过, 只是偶尔搭巴士经过就多看两眼。

@12:00 you will always the old HDB blocks. If take a closer look, these old HDB blocks top are covered with green patches (grass) . The aim is to bring down the heat for that block and around that environment.

Sg urban design is very well controlled and assessed by The Urban Redevelopment Authority on the project envelope and massing and compliance with URA’s regulations and master plan. That is why u see a well planned and beautiful cityscape.

現在的HDB 已經standardise 了。3房 4房 5 房的size都是差不多一樣，不像舊的會有不同款式。
邻里资料不够完整噢。晚上在楼下TANJONG PAGAR 店屋走一圈，到处都是小资和高级餐厅，酒吧。旧店外墙和新潮内装潢，是我最爱逛的地点之一。
Pinnacle 係政府祖屋(99年地契),今時今日樓價已经等如私人公寓/屋苑了,在TH-cam上,有很多地産agent 介绍不同地区HDB,二手樓價已不断升至70-80萬新幣起跳

Cool video on Pinnacle＠Duxton gave us some insight on the HDB flat. 😁👍 By the way since you are a foodie and more familiar with HK food as well would like your opinion on Hong Kong Zi Char is call "港式小炒" - Hong Kong Style Kichen at 93 Toa Payoh Lor 4 #01-44 (hawker centre). By word of mouth, hear is value for money and good eating. Maybe can gave a video review about the Hong Kong couple? Not everyday we see something unique in hawker centres. The food centre will be closed two months for upgrading from 26/6 though
@@kkdteo Oh thks for the info. Well maybe can still can make one before d 2 month upgrading closure is very common as to maintain better hygiene environment. Perhap can also put the upgradeing information in the video . Anyway they still be there after the upgrading. What I hear is so special that they do not have a permanent menu and value for yummy(money) ..So no matter how foodie like me will still be interested in going to try their food...hehehe! I would not consider that the Pinnacle surrounded by old buildings and communities is so 'special' as you have mentioned in the video, becasue SG is to an extent small and every 'inch' of lot has to be well arranged and/or utilised in terms of town (or city) planning. Nevertheless, one thing I am a bit surprised is that the buildings within the Pinnacle have been connected to each other with the 'sky bridges' at some two higher levels. I would wonder if HK migh have such a building design in terms of PRH?
The kitchen looks smaller than usual standard HDB actually. More like condo style. Perhaps the owner has changed the layout? Newer HDBs feels smaller as well because the space is wasted at the common walkways to the bedrooms.

yeah... its just a normal flat, been living here for past 13 years n the cost of living is higher than anywhere in singapore, food and things are not cheap. so nothing much to boost about

Thank you for taking the time to showcase Pinnacle@Duxton, i wldnt hv known the 26th flr,50th flr...3rd flr ,etc.
But i am not comfortable with yr comments on ''nothing special', to be able to hv a unit in Pinnacle itself is alrdy very special for those residents.
So kindly refrain from passing comments on the design as ' nothing special', it just didnt sit well with me personally.
If anythg, its definitely much more special than the govt housing in Hongkong.

It really is "nothing special" because that layout is a standardized HDB 5 room flat layout, you can see it duplicated in the thousands all across the country. It's a template layout, hence "nothing special".
Who takes the chickens? Nice HOB buildings! How did you choose the unit? Randomly assigned? Or depending on the unit price? Low and high floor difference? 🤓 View...Matter.

新加坡还有双层楼的组屋, 每个组屋单位都有两层, 楼下是客厅, 厨房, 书房, 屋里有楼梯, 楼上是几间卧室。
在巴西立甚至有双层近2000尺的

Sadly Singapore had sent national University of Singapore at 1985 to Hong Kong to fine ,the reason why the youths in that country, never stay away from their homes ! After investigating they found the reason, the housing in Hong Kong are just too small ! But after that our public housing, now just getting smaller and smaller .WHY ??? Does Singapore government wants our youths to stay out ,like Hong Kong youths ?

首間李光耀命名有空中花園的祖屋，雖然單位細小，但全部都是過百萬价值，樓主應該介紹一下星加坡比較罕有舊式的祖屋例如大巴瑤，碧山，女王鎮，有一些面積非常大，很罕有，例如客廳可以放一張英式桌球枱

Pinnacle @Duxton 的房间小的可怜. 放了一张 queen size 床和一个衣柜就差不多没有地方走. 我朋友从Jurong 搬去要把原有三个房间的 king size 床丢弃. 人三分之一的时间是睡眠. 😂😂

Pinnacle Duxton 馬國很多，更高的也有。這座也是一名29歲馬國 architect 被特別請來替新加坡政府的HDB設計的。記得當時李光耀還在電視上誇他和給他PR呢

yeah, that is why Malaysia architect know little about how singapore houses normally are designed and what we normally wanted in terms of house layout, which explained why the layout in houses are poorly designed! So many huge columns and beams located everywhere within rooms and living hall, making it so difficult to place furniture and making space less efficiently used. Many many stupid design deficiency are found everywhere.....

Do u know having chickens roaming around will cause noise pollution? They may crawl as early as 5-6am. It b a nightmare for some who may want peace but get irritated calling.

據我所知有些華族結婚當天女方會帶一對所謂“帶路雞”，用九尺紅緞帶绑住去男方家，寓意起家，之後放在床下看公或母的先跑出來以預测第一胎生男或生女，婚禮過後古代可殺來進補，但是新加坡人一般都不殺雞，所以放生，基本上没有人會去捉牠，任由活動，大概是如此吧，希望没講錯😅
