This is awesome!!! If you ever get a chance meet and talk to Paul Brandt. Met him and Dean Brody at a show they had and he was an amazing guy with some interesting stories. Great video!!!!
I was about to ask you to make a video on Kip as I was listening to his songs this morning ... And damn.. I see this after couple of hours... I'm little hungover but won't need coffee after this.. thank you so much 🙏🙏
I saw him live at a local fair in Canada and most of the crowd had no clue who he was. No one was getting into it and he say “well if you guys aren’t going to have fun I will” walked off stage and came back out with a 40 of jack and just started drinking. He really pulled the crowd in after that. It was a blast after that.
Kip Moore seems like one of the chillest dudes to hang out with. I keep getting more respect for Kip, and appreciating his music more. Maybe it's time I dive deeper into his stuff.
I don't know much about Kip, but after watching this, he genuinely seems like a great guy and I think being an independent artist would suit him better. He could do whatever he wanted and wouldn't have to deal with all that label bull crap. He seems like a guy that is definitely in this more for the music, not the fame and money. Congrats on the interview, Grady!
I love this format. All the interviews I watch are always the interviewer going down a checklist of the same questions everyone asks and then the artist doing their best to answer without coming off as annoyed. This seemed like a genuine conversation between friends. Keep this type of content coming!
His rant about scalpers, totally won me over! The fact that he Put so much thought into the pricing of his events so that true fans and families can afford to attend is awesome
Kip is an unreal performer. Saw him in Spokane last month. The crowd loves him and he loves his fans. The way he interacts with the crowd is unmatched.
I love the songs "marry was the marrying kind" and "motorcycle" along with a lot of the songs not even mentioned in the interview... I hope Kip keeps at it for a long time
I never was a fan of kip until I went to a show he did in Milwaukee at summerfest and he actually went over the time limit he had and got a fine just because he loves the city of Milwaukee so much and would do anything to entertain his fans and make the best show possible for us and that’s what made me a fan of his
Kip Moore is the one artist that has stayed true to himself. My favorite country artist, and my artist of the decade on Spotify. Slowheart album was amazing.
Kip is very down to earth... I remember working with him when he first moved to Nashville... he was saying he moved there to become a singer... I'm glad he made it.. Proud of him for sure.
So glad you asked about his lodge, I live about 20 miles from it. Wish You would’ve asked if he plans on doing a show there. Would be cool to make it an annual thing 😂
I'm just saying, Kip Moore is the realist true to himself artist out there. I am in my 60's and have went to see him 5 times live. Have loved his music from the first time I heard his first album. So down to earth and again real. Will continue to see him anytime he is anywhere around where I live. Keep doing what your doing Kip....your fans love you.
Kip is an absolute stallion. Isn’t concerned with what’s going on in the mainstream and always writes from the heart! Such an amazing artist. Awesome interview!!
Hey Grady - Great video, man. First time watcher here and have to say I really appreciate this -- I've followed kip for years and he's one of very few artists that really speak to me. Really enjoyed seeing his insight, and think your interviewing skills hit the nail on the head here. Keep 'em coming!
Was never a big Kip Moore fan--I think it was that truck song that turned me off way back when...but I am a fan now! Seems like a very decent guy that appreciates his fans a lot....and doesn't want them to go broke seeing his show or buying his merch. A regular guy. Great conversation. I'll definitely check out his new album.
He’s by far my favorite artist. Dude is so down to earth and writes music so captivating. Everything from guitar man to she’s mine can pull you in and make you feel like you’re living in that song
We love Kip. He is genuinely the best and always happy to see his true fans. He is worth every mile driven, new friends made and long work days of no sleep because you cant miss a show #slowhearts
This is really one of the best interviews I have ever seen with an artist. The way you approached this worked incredibly well. I was guilty of writing Kip Moore off as a bro country artist because of that first single. It is sad that one single can give the wrong impression of who someone is as an artist. Not all that long ago an artist had almost no control over anything but their live show, the internet was not in every home, and where it was there was only dial up, so there was no social media. Even CMT wasn't in many homes across America. Something as simple as watching a video of an artist having a down to Earth conversation does so much to get the people on their side when they are the real deal like Kip is. I know I'm not alone in saying that I became a fan of Kip and and a bigger one of you after watching this.
Now he just needs to put "I'll let her" and "Baby Break My Heart" on an album. Kip is my youngest daughter's favorite country artist. We used to listen to Wild Ones every morning when she was getting ready for school.
Fantastic stuff Grady. I really like your interview style. Also can tell you really put the work in, to get unique answers. Kip is really down to earth and hearing him talk about the craft and what it takes is really cool. Look forward to more of these.
Kip Moore is an amazing artist. I will admit I got into him so many years ago through something about a truck but it definitely was not my favorite song on his album. Dude is amazing. I have yet to see him in concert. I’d love to see him perform somewhere nearby me like Lawrence, KS or even Kansas City or Topeka
What a talented artist! Love his music so much. The acoustic tour brought me to tears and I'm kicking myself for not going to more show dates; my favorite tour thus far! The Dive bar tour was an up-close experience I'll never forget. Can't wait for the new record and the next tour. Saving my pennies to travel to as many shows as I can! You 'da bomb @kipmooremusic!
Love this Grady. Kip is that guy that you really wish you knew. So down to Earth and balls out performer. I’ve seen him quite a few times here in Australia, he tours here most every year these days and has a massive following. He was so blown away that he was even known here and handles a 20,000 crowd like few others. I put him in that Eric Church kind of performer, he’s that good at giving all he’s got. Keep em coming Grady, love it. Cheers, Col
As If I couldn't love Kip Moore any more than I already do, this increased my respect for him even more! For what it's worth, "Dirt Road" is my favorite song of his. Typical of Kip, the song may seem like a cliche bro song, based on the title at least, but it's actually very personal and thoughtful.
*fan boy moment I love these two, so much, that I come back to this video, time and time again, for relief. There are so many things in life that pull us away from joy. Coming back to this video reminds me that you got to, some times, sit down and find it.
This is great! I met Kip at a meet and greet a few years ago and between that and his soundcheck performance he was so friendly and genuine with everyone. One of my favorite artists I’ve ever met
I love this video with Kip Moore in it his music is the greatest music there is it's the only music I listen to he's my favorite singer and songwriter and artist there is I listen to his music everyday ❤🎸🎤🎶🎼🎵🎙🥁
This was so fantastic. Kip's shows are by far one of the best I've ever been to. I saw him last week during an acoustic show and it was crazy to see how he is so in tune with the crowd. He's so underated; oddly enough, that makes me like him even more.
You got to be kidding me!!!!!!!! A while ago I mentioned that I thought Kip Moore was so underrated on one of your video and I am so happy you did this. 🙏🏼 I love him to pieces. People snoozing on Kip is missing out.
OMG I loved every second of this interview! I really admire / am inspired by his authenticity, curiosity, artistic vision, passion for his music / fans, and not being afraid to be different. What an incredible guy! I look forward to seeing him live in the future! Also I would love to see you do more interviews!!!
Awesome interview. Other than his radio hits I didn't know much about Kip till he came to Ithaca NY in October. I bought tickets the at 4:30 right before I left work and took my daughter. The show was amazing and Tucker Beathard opened. I really enjoyed the way he blended talking with the audience and his music. We walked away knowing more about Kip and really feeling a connection. I've since listened to all his music and it really is a fun journey. I do appreciate artists that allow there music to grow and evolve with them and where life takes them. And yes I hate scalpers too!! They really mess up alot of shows for good, honest hard working people that just love life and live music.
Never really listened to his music but he seems like a really genuine down to earth dude. I'll download a couple of his albums for the trek back home from Thanksgiving.
La Croix for everyone Grady. See Kip frequently at BNA he's always got cash tips for Gibson's, Toosties any airport songwriters. Two cowboys rocking solo red🤠 Blessings at Thanksgiving Y'all.
I gotta be honest, during peak "bro-country" radio, I turned off a bunch of artists who wrote those type of songs. Kip Moore was one of them. Did I listen to his records? no. I moved off of radio and made my own playlists without any of those "bro country" artists. I'm so glad I watched this. I am now ashamed of how I totally typed him into a mold without giving him a chance. I'm off to listen to Wild Ones now
“That’s a shitty way to be a human” great line. 😂😂 Love this interview. Kip is one of my all time favorite artists and this just made me love him more.
So glad you had to opportunity to get someone on your channel as big as him ! Moving on up in the world! Congratulations! Absolutely love your channel and all your content!
Loved this interview! Got the opportunity to meet Kip when he played in Halifax Nova Scotia. Most chill person on earth. I think we could all learn a lot from him. I hope you get to talk to him more.
I saw Kip a couple of months back in Glasgow, Scotland. I was surprised the whole band was there and there were a few acoustic songs at the end. The bulk of the night, while still amazing was Wild Ones tracks. I love Kips acoustic songs and was a little disappointed. Maybe his management told him it wouldn't work in the UK, who knows. But it was interesting to hear him say people doubted the acoustic tour. There's few artists can have you rocking to one song and crying to the next. Can't wait for the new album.
Saw him at the county fair a while back. It was split into a free general seating area and a vip sitting area. About half way through the show he noticed the free crowd was way more into it. So he stopped the show and refused to play until the general sitting crowd were allowed to come up next to the stage. Been to a lot of concerts but that moment was definitely something special
Kip I grew up on Jackson Browne with my dad who's passed away too. Add to your bucket list coming out to Santa Barbara and seeing him play at the Arlington while you still can! One of the best experiences of my life. ❤
Dude this was a cool interview glad you got to talk with him that’s super cool. Kip seems like a really cool and authentic guy I might start listening to more of his music now
Grady, great job! Your channel has grown because you too care about what you are doing and you keep pushing yourself and stretching your boundaries! I am looking forward to more!
Pumped about this!! Kip's a cool dude with a great story. If you're just here for the music talk, check the description for timestamps!
This is awesome!!! If you ever get a chance meet and talk to Paul Brandt. Met him and Dean Brody at a show they had and he was an amazing guy with some interesting stories. Great video!!!!
Glad you finally got this big in-person interview Grady!
I was about to ask you to make a video on Kip as I was listening to his songs this morning ... And damn.. I see this after couple of hours... I'm little hungover but won't need coffee after this..
thank you so much 🙏🙏
I believe his the only reason country music is still alive
He's actually one of those talented artist that writes their own music
Kip: the man who doesn’t give a damn about trendy music
I can't believe you had the opportunity to do this!

I love you even more Grady! Kip Moore is kick ass & is 100% honest about this music industry and loves quality songwriting. The man rocks!
Great interview Grady. I think the style worked well, just two people having a conversation.
Appreciate it!
Love Kip's Songs.. Lyrics... Voice.... Personality.... Humor.... 😁❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can confirm Kips sound is awesome live, those sound checks pay off!!
I love this format. Great job on interview you have talent at this one on one . Kip has crazy good unique sound love his masculinity and voice
Kip Moore is just legitimately ultimate country daddy!
Kip I grew up on Jackson Browne with my dad who's passed away too. Add to your bucket list coming out to Santa Barbara and seeing him play at the Arlington while you still can! One of the best experiences of my life. ❤
