This looks like almost the 80’s when I watch the video, even though I remember it like it was yesterday (I’m 48). I literally have vhs tapes from this exact year, of skating around and I made a bunch of videos. I had a vhs camcorder back then.
@@dfasklfh Watch Powell team vlogs or any I.g new skaters it's most " Yesss " then followed by the name . I've been skating for 27 plus years, im now 48 I've seen many changes in my years.
I moved to NJ from Australia and had a PAL VHS video camera. PAL was much better quality than NTSC at the time. Thankfully I kept the master tape all these years and re-transferred from a Sony Super VHS editing machine directly into Final Cut. Master tape with very little compression is why it looks so good. Cheers.
Hey, this is a super random question, but did you ever go to demo w/ Sheffey and Donger somewhere in New Jersey, probably would have been around the time of the first Life video.
@@dfasklfh I grew up in South Jersey before moving to Michigan. My mom took me to that demo and it's a faint memory. I wish I could remember the city. And yes, definitely best pop! 🙏
Yeah!... Yeah!... Yeah!... Yeah!.... the 90s
Oh yeah!
Keep mining this stuff Michael, absolute GOLD!
Cheers mate… keep all the old footage.
Yeah!!! 🛹 Gazelle forever🤘
I was at that demo . First time I saw Templeton Casper flat ground. Thank you sycho skates.
Coincidence, watching it just now was the first time I saw Templeton Casper flat ground! I had no idea he did that style too.
Nice... saw a few Psycho Skates demos. These were the 'underground' days of skating. Super inventive time.

Put it online, love to see the footage.
Wow, many familiar faces in the crowd. Good times in the era of Psycho Skates. Thanks for posting.
No worries. Good times. I’ll dig up the Mullen demo too.
@@dfasklfh The one in the parking garage with J. Lee?
Yeeaahhhh..
Amazing 👏😢
Demos were so awkward in the 90s. Just kids sitting around saying YEAH!
The best. We always saw something new... then we had to try and remember how he did it.
Watch an early 90's vert contest/demo. Every wall: "yea."
sick video🤙🏽
Cheers mate.
This was one of those world tours with ed
Oh, this took me back, I used to say " yeah "far too much also.

Didn’t know Mike V had some late shove game dialed, and recognized Templeton just by his impossible tails. Sick.
Late big spin... bring that one back!

dude i swear there was a video on one of mike vallelys channels of demos around this time, where tf did that go
Was this shot on VHS? What's your process for digitizing, I notice this is in 25fps. It looks amazing

No I didn’t… but I wish I did. Two of the best pops of the 90s.

These olden day demos must have been really tough for the skaters. Such tacky little obstacles and they're expected to perform.
True... this was just before wheels got too small as well.
