The van life looks so nice. You have your dog, beautiful nature, endless time and total silence. No stress or other people bothering you. But most important: FREEDOM!
Under the weight of bills, debt, career ambitions, and problems -- these types of videos remind me that there's a world out there to take in. In its own way, nature reminds me of what life should be like, what truly matters, and that a simple life is something one should aspire to, not run from or view as less. No, it truly is more. Although probably not the intent of this video, it certainly caused me to reflect on life and what direction I want to go.

i think its what I need to do myself, need to escape society but if I do it im going to need to go fully independant and not rely on getting supplies at the supermarket, i'd want to grow my own food and produce my own water with a dew collector, wouldnt have room in a normal van and thats kind of the problem

If you're still in New England I suggest heading back east to western Maine where you can spend the night on top of Quill Hill mountain peak located near Rangeley. They have a box you can put a donation in, whatever you want. It's prime time for leaf peeping and you'll have a 360* view of the mountain range! Stay safe and have fun!

I've done this too (chasing my dog) but somebody told me that there's a problem with it. You teach your dog to run away from you. You do better when you take the stick and let her chase you. It makes a lot of difference in behavior. And today I think he is right.

I grew up in northern Maryland but I’ve lived in south Mississippi for almost 10 years and I desperately miss that seasonal change and fall foliage.
