im sorry but sound is no different than beauty, its in the eye, or ear, of the beholder. i would so much rather listen to his crackling voice singing from the heart than any of the so called singers of today with all their high tech voice over cleaned up and electronically changed crap called music. and that doesn't just go for Kris either, lots of our legends as they got older their sound changed with age, but to me it only got better and better.
