You should of seen it at its glory. Inside, wrapped around 360 degrees diorama mural or mosaic (don’t remember). It looked like a planetarium. It was very impressive! But those mountains! 🏔️ ah-mazing! ❤as always! Thank you for another great video!

I've read that there are a few groups interested in renovating the structure, more for the architectural uniqueness than the political, but you're correct: a lot of mixed feelings about it. Wow you've been to my hometown. Years ago we used to smuggle inside through a hole on the left side facade but it's impossible now. It's even more impressive from the inside (even though it's in very bad condition) - the murals and the view from those gigantic windows. We even climbed the top of the tower and friends of mine used to spend the night on top watching the stars.

Very interesting video thanks. Choice views to be seen from way up there in the mountains. Seems to me that socialist countries don't evolve in a vacuum of global socialism. As there's always been the competing capitalist systems. Some of which could perhaps even choose to attempt to push or to impose their own agenda at any given moment too. This is a unavoidable pressure existing from outside. Therefore socialist systems will still need to attempt to match things like military and intelligence and so forth. So there's really no option to completely relax or to utilize all the available income to maintain socialist interests alone. I suspect its this factor that imposes situation what cause socialist system to struggle to survive

Add to this the ballooning costs associated to rising issues within metal health. I personally feel that the situation may get so dire that someday the families may be forced to need to reconnect to again become the family style socialist "cooperative collective" of like how they once had live in times before long long ago You wont regret your move of reconnection with your family roots 💝
All said and done the World was actually a safer place when the old USSR existed. And most people seemed contented in those countries. Not perfect of course, but was and is there any where perfect.

Have you been to the USA recently? It’s not what it used to be. I am a US citizen so I can always move back… but I have been in Bulgaria for 3 years already and am much happier. I find life here much more genuine and real. 🇧🇬❤️

Things are so bad that most people are seeking for medical care in Turkey when it comes to something serious. I am a medical University of Sofia graduate, and I have graduated from an elite foreign language high school in Plovdiv. The quality of the education is very poor. Bulgaria is a nice place for a vacation, but for a long-term residence, it is a total mistake. You need healthcare and education.
I respectfully disagree regarding both the education and healthcare being poor in Bulgaria. I studied in New York City my whole life. I went on to graduate one of Manhattan’s most elite universities... it was all about collecting our RIDICULOUSLY high tuition. I also studied in a Bulgarian school for a time and genuinely find that Bulgaria’s education is better. Regarding the healthcare, America is a DISASTER. There is access to healthcare but the doctors look at their patients like banknotes. I’m not saying that all doctors are like this, but many. It’s a conveyer belt. My mom works in NYC’s best hospital and agrees that the healthcare system went down the drain. It’s all about money. We always seek healthcare in Bulgaria (even when I lived in the USA). I find the doctors to be much more compassionate, genuine and competent. But to each their own. We can agree to disagree 🙂

Have you been to the USA recently? It’s not what it used to be. I am a US citizen so I can always move back… but I have been in Bulgaria for 3 years already and am much happier. I find life here much more genuine and real. 🇧🇬❤️
@@sistersofbulgaria9396 Bulgaria Is falling apart. The healthcare and the education system are a total disaster. I'm a pharmacist and my parents are physicians. Things are so bad that most people are seeking for medical care in Turkey when it comes to something serious. I am a medical University of Sofia graduate, and I have graduated from an elite foreign language high school in Plovdiv. The quality of the education is very poor. Bulgaria is a nice place for a vacation, but for a long-term residence, it is a total mistake. You need healthcare and education.
I respectfully disagree regarding both the education and healthcare being poor in Bulgaria. I studied in New York City my whole life. I went on to graduate one of Manhattan’s most elite universities... it was all about collecting our RIDICULOUSLY high tuition. I also studied in a Bulgarian school for a time and genuinely find that Bulgaria’s education is better. Regarding the healthcare, America is a DISASTER. There is access to healthcare but the doctors look at their patients like banknotes. I’m not saying that all doctors are like this, but many. It’s a conveyer belt. My mom works in NYC’s best hospital and agrees that the healthcare system went down the drain. It’s all about money. We always seek healthcare in Bulgaria (even when I lived in the USA). I find the doctors to be much more compassionate, genuine and competent. But to each their own. We can agree to disagree 🙂
@@sistersofbulgaria9396 I'm a former employee of the largest government hospital in Bulgaria. St George university hospital in Plovdiv and the situation is not all roses judging by my personal experience. Incompetence and corruption is what I saw there. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
