I 100% see Wolverine liking animals more. Animals are straight forward, they don't lie, they're open about what they want. Wolverine is a guy who wants to cut to the chase and be blunt. It's the perfect environment for him.
I mean animals lie as much as people do (in mating displays, hiding food from each other, playing dead as a defense mechanism, etc), it's just not usually as complex due to the lack of vocal language. We also are animals, Wolverine doesn't dislike humanity, he's just had a lot of bad experiences with people in the past that make him difficult to thaw out.
Yeah. Having superior attributes, stealth tech and guided weapons of unsurpassed lethality just to kill ignorant apes in the jungle, "fair fight" takes on a weird meaning anyway. With both Aliens and super-characters, what is fair can quickly turn out to be the Predators' disavantage. But then, if they lose, they can just blow everything up. 🙃

Well the Tech that the Predators have, as well as being physically equal to Wolverine and Sabertooth, id say its pretty even. People truly dont understand just how insane Yautja tech is. They literally figured out wormhole travel before the Engineers did
@@M4PAT Well, the Engineers are the pinnacle of biological engineering, they've pushed their species to the brink, and created most of their technology around their own genome apparently. The Yautja are more naturalist in their approach to their own species, they have advanced technology, sure, but they largely limit this to travel and weaponry from what we've seen, they don't seem to have extensive biological modifications in the same way the Engineers do (who have what looks like integrated armor as a sort of exoskeleton in most depictions). An Engineer by itself is naturally bigger and stronger than a Yautja, likely has a bunch of augmentations on top of that, and seem to be able to tear synthetics apart like nothing (Synthetic humans are probably more durable than male Yautja). So yeah, unless the Predator gets the drop and, say, decapitated them instantly with one of their weapons, it's unlikely they'd take an Engineer in a lone hunt. Engineers seem physically capable enough to beat Xenomorphs to death, and one put up a pretty good fight against whatever the hell came out of Elizabeth Shaw, and the Deacon spawned from said Engineer was apparently insanely dangerous compared to any traditional Xenomorph. They might not beat a female Yautja though, who are apparently much bigger and stronger than the males.
And the best part is they could do it as a teaser like in "Punisher meets Archie" where on a last page there is a hint Wolverine will go after Jughead.
God I'd love for this to be made into a movie. They could make it like the Fast and Furious franchise and make 16 of them and I'd be in front row for every one.

I gotta say I was really hesitant about this story because what was the Predator going to do to Wolverine to go toe to toe with him but having it be set during his bone claws era really levels the playing field a lot. Awesome start.
Sun Tzu states you must fight the enemy where the enemy is not. If their defense is strong in one area you focus on the weaknesses available for you to exploit in another. A tactical retreat is just that. A retreat for a tactical advantage on a terrain more advantageous to your survival. Wolverines retreat is a perfect example of this.
I probably don't comment enough. Comics weren't a big part of my youth, but just as with cartoons, I can appreciate their capacity for storytelling. You have a great capacity for storytelling too and are beyond enthusiastic and beyond passionate. It really comes across on your channel. I love the Predator franchise, mainly the first two movies. Absolutely love the art in those opening panels where Wolverine says he is the hunted. I hate it when books do what they did here, which is having the art not be as good in the flashbacks. Hopefully in the final fight in these series we get the same art as the opening. Wolverine vs Predator is always a welcoming fight.
What was Wolverine's healing factor like pre-adamantium??? Given his body is constantly fighting the toxicity of the adamantium and he STILL rebounds from nearly anything, wouldn't it stand to reason his healing factor would be even more robust prior to adamantium? Or maybe it just works so much harder with the metal that its equivalent? There's no metabolic free lunch so its an interesting area I've never seen addressed.

Wolverine is an exceptional opponent for a Predator, as he can negate a lot of the Predator's built-in advantages. It doesn't matter if the Predator can make himself invisible, Wolverine's hearing and scent tracking would alert him to the Predator's presence anyway. Wolverine is himself stealthy, which negates some (not all) of Predator's abilties to track him. Wolverine's Adamantium skeleton means the Predator cannot simply slice his head off, or any appendages. The healing factor means the Predator cannot injure him to the point he simply bleeds out. The only way the Predator can put Wolverine totally down for the count, is by using his self-destruct nuclear device...which, not only kills the Predator, but...isn't a guaranteed kill... Wolverine injures Predator, the Predator is permanently injured. Predator injures Wolverine, it's a momentary factor only. Wolverine would have a tough fight on his hands, but he'd win.
All depends on the level of the Yautja… they have a “class” like society as well! I can’t remember on the names, but the hierarchies/upper echelon have better devices and gear and can kill a queen Xenomorph. Or a nest.

The biggest hive in lore being the one on Xenomorph prime which spans like half a continent. But if we’re simply talking about the standard size of a hive with one Queen, it should easily go into the early-mid hundreds. “Aliens” is a good reference to look at for the size of a hive as that one was a very young hive since the outbreak in that movie lasted 3-4 weeks until Ripley arrived there and yet there had to have been roughly 250+ aliens as the movie said there were 60-70+ families on the colony. The average Predator stands at 7 ft 4 inches and weighs over 500 lbs. 500 lbs of robust neuromuscular skeletal system. Batman punched one of the Predators squared dead in the face during their crossover and it somewhat took aback the Predator but shrugged it off like "very decent but not good enough". Everyone, Batman is absolute peak physical condition and having mastered every form of martial arts and can dead lift a thousand pounds and leg press 1200 lbs. Who barely survived from the Predator beat down. Insane.
Check out, Bat in the Sun, they did a short live action wolverine versus predator, it's pretty awesome, in fact they do a lot of character versus character shorts, their captain America versus master chief is really good as well.

Are you kidding? It was literally a storyline where Magneto stripped the adamantium out of him. His healing factor went off the charts.
Depends on the writer. With or without the Adamantium he can still pretty much heal from anything pretty quickly.
The only person to top his healing factor is deadpool

All depends on the level of the Yautja… they have a “class” like society as well! I can’t remember on the names, but the hierarchies/upper echelon have better devices and gear and can kill a queen Xenomorph. Or a nest.

@@trentonayershandsoffire3620 The size of a nest/hive can vary because multiple Queens can link it to make it bigger. The biggest hive in lore being the one on Xenomorph prime which spans like half a continent.
But if we’re simply talking about the standard size of a hive with one Queen, it should easily go into the early-mid hundreds.
“Aliens” is a good reference to look at for the size of a hive as that one was a very young hive since the outbreak in that movie lasted 3-4 weeks until Ripley arrived there and yet there had to have been roughly 250+ aliens as the movie said there were 60-70+ families on the colony.

So the Yautja/predator that’s fighting wolverine is “classic predator” the one that next might be “Blooded yautja’s” or at least one and the other three be considered “young bloods”… either way I’m excited!!

The average Predator stands at 7 ft 4 inches and weighs over 500 lbs. 500 lbs of robust neuromuscular skeletal system. Batman punched one of the Predators squared dead in the face during their crossover and it somewhat took aback the Predator but shrugged it off like "very decent but not good enough". Everyone, Batman is absolute peak physical condition and having mastered every form of martial arts and can dead lift a thousand pounds and leg press 1200 lbs. Who barely survived from the Predator beat down. Insane.

Check out, Bat in the Sun, they did a short live action wolverine versus predator, it's pretty awesome, in fact they do a lot of character versus character shorts, their captain America versus master chief is really good as well.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!! A FIGHT FINALLY WORTH WATCHING BETWEEN TWO OF THE BLOODIEST BASTARDS GO AT EACH OTHER. And I love how the story line is written through a nice long period of time on both sides. It gives it so much authenticity and depth.
