It's absolutely hilarious that it took Britain 45 days to realize that trickle down economics is a terrible idea. Over here in the US we're going on 40 years and still haven't worked it out.
Working class brits knew it from the start. Obviously people woth money are in favor of them getting more money and they are all the people in power

Hasn't worked since Reagan and Thatcher sold out the countries to corporations
Well it does work for us though. Maybe not for ordinary people but I would say trickle down economics is what keeps our status as a superpower. The supremacy of American corporations across the world and therefore America’s dominant influence can be attributed to trickle down economics.
The little girl that bluntly says "How does that help" when asked about Tiktok and the one about taking the streets are amazing.

2022 felt longer and more chaotic than the first two lockdowns while I was at uni. I hope it gets better this year, but I'm not holding my breath about it. But Russell helped me laugh a bit, which I appreciate.

Sunak wont be as bad as any of them. It’s take talent and intelligence for a person that looks like him to make it to his position. I mean even 60% of Tories voted against him in favour for truss and then all the clips came out of how he predicted what would happen if truss got her way. He won’t be that bad, and will probably turn things around, but no one will voted for him for the obvious reasons
It's not really bad luck if people voted for it. It's not like electing Boris Johnson might have turned out great if we'd just had a decent roll of the dice. It was always going to end up as a clown show. And not the funny kind, the batshit crazy killer kind.
