I’m gonna cry if Madame Web (probably Cassandra) doesn’t make it into the next spiderverse movie.
It would make sense but there’s already a madame web movie coming in 2024 so I doubt they will just to build more hype for tht movie
One thing I like about Madame Web. If I recall correctly. She was based off of Stan Lee's wife and if I recall she even did the voice for the Spider-Man cartoon during the 90s.
She’s way more interesting in the comics and cartoons than her movie counterpart.

I wish she would be a supporting character for the MCU like in this version she's able to bring back those previous variants from no way home the only one condition they must defeat knull before he takes over all realities.

The movie is one huge train wreck. They took Madame Web's origin story and threw it away to create a totally different Madame Web. The whole movie was hilariously bad. It made Morbius look like a cinematic masterpiece.
With Aunt May gone from the mcu Madame Web would be a good mother figure for Peter
I'm happy that Sony cast Dakota Johnson for Madame Web movie. I'm totally unaware of this character so it's nice Sony is starting to give other lesser-known marvel characters associated with Spider-Man a chance to be known. It would be a waste for Sony not to feature marvel characters they own to build up the Sony Spiderman Universe and to see a Spider-Man team up VS Sinister Six.

Considering the large cast and the synopsis, I believe this right here might be what happens in the movie.
Madame Web being hunted by someone, probably not Kraven since he's not gonna be like the comics, and her dying to pass her powers to Julia Carpenter.
My closest guess is that they'll adapt a Spiderverse story, but only with the female variants that were mentioned in the video, and they'll band together to stop Morlun perhaps.
If Spider-Man is in it, it's gonna be as a baby as this is going to happen in the past. I don't think there will be time travel, just a prequel.
I'd like if it was about Morbius and the Sinister Six going after Spider-Man, and Madame Web getting others to save him, but... oh wel...

Not for not, but years ago (about ten), there was a rumor that one of the "no-name" background characters in at least two of the Sony Spider-Man movies had a person that appeared to be Madame Web from a distance. This was supposedly debunked. Still, I wonder if this hasn't been picked up in the MCU after Disney got to use Webhead. I'm currently rewatching all of his appearances in the MCU to see if there is a sunglass-wearing grey haired paraplegic woman in the background of any of the movies.
YES! I remember her from the cartoon (And the first classic Juggernaut storyline. I thought that Cain actually killed her.). She's actually a pretty cool character (Although I'm not so sure that's true about Julia in her role.).
Madam Web episodes were Jump-The-Shark quality for that otherwise noble series.

I thought she was a villain, I'd love to see her in the MCU with Tom Holland spiderman, imagine her appearing in whatever the next Spiderman film for the MCU will be, if she ever did appear in the MCU, I would hope though that she looked EXSACTLY like the comics

If I'm not mistaken she is a supernatural being. Truely "paranormal" as Reed Richards would say. Neither Mutant or Mutate. Her spirit is linked to the supernatural, not her cells/DNA. This why she could transfer her powers to Julia Carpenter.
I hesitated to ask about Madame Web, fearing your response. Wiki classified Marvel’s Madame Web as a Mutant. Is Wiki’s classification of Madame Web a posting-internet-error?
I'd say it's more of a misconception. In the Marvel Universe, anyone that is born with powers gets called or considered a mutant, but the comics make that very complicated.
@@radrno7 , agreed! For example, Marvel's Skaar was born with powers, but he isn't a mutant. Also, Marvel's Spider-Girl was about a teenager born with spider powers, bur she wasn't a mutant either.

I remember her but seems like she was only present for a few minutes and in not many episodes...it would be cool to put her in a Spider-Man movie but idk about a stand-alone....but hey. I'll check it out. ✅
