Dubrovnik was the main filming location in Croatia for King’s Landing, a fictional city in Game of Thrones, the famous HBO television series based on the series of fantasy novels “A Song of Ice and Fire”.

A beautiful city ... I went in October 2018 and loved it. The tourist season was winding down, the weather was perfect and I was still able to swim. Early morning's except for a few other photographers I had the old city to myself . Loved Dubrovnik!
One of my favorite places. Just go during the shoulder season. So beautiful.

Those stone streets are gorgeous!
It is a beautiful town, but like Venice, it is overrun by tourists in the summer. When I was there in 2015 you could still see signs of the war with Serbia in 91 when Dubrovnik was attacked, although fortunately the majority of the buildings escaped serious damage.

Hello from Montreal. This was absolutely STUNNING ! I felt like i was right there with you along the wall walk. Truly magnificent. Nice to see Azamara, Ponant and Seabourne in the bay.
Hi doc. I felt that this city looks fabulous by night. The part where two cruise liners are gliding on the sea and the sunset on the Adriatic Sea is incredible. The fireworks are so alluring.
It is an interesting place. I see a plethora of walkways flanked by ancient structures. This seems to be a classic feature of the city.
Now, this is my kind of get away! Beauty, history and splendor all in one package. Bravo!
Adriatic coast is amazing from both sides.. Italy coast with Venice,Trieste,Rimini and another beautiful cities from one,and Dubrovnik,Dalmacia,Istra and Budva and Montenegro from other side.

Fantastic video, have been there several times and love the place, would have been nice to have included Lokrum Island as its a must when visiting Dubrovnik
I remember visiting there a few years before the war caused a lot of damage. Purchased crystal there. It was so cheap, but they didn't ship to the U.S.
i enjoyed the evening stroll in the city. Nice place.

Croatia is beautiful but accommodation expensive.
Depend what you look for.You can find anything here,from cheap hostels to 5* hotels.Ofc most popular or touristic places are bit expensive,but even there you can find affordable accomodations,and places to enjoy good food and have fun

Yes they do :-)
Only about 1,000. 20 years ago more than 5,000. There are at least 3 public fountains. The walls surround the city as that’s what they we built for. Dubrovnik wasn’t the capital so much as it was a city state.
