I got some seeds from there and planted them, they grow little red peppers , I’ve collected the seeds and planted some more , very cool place , they are flower producing plants. They are the size of silver dollars, I’ve got five in a six inch clay pot , here in SW Florida they love the afternoon sun, the cinnamon on a cactus cutting really works , did that and I’ve got a new baby about 1/2 in dia , great idea . I lost them to severe sun scorching. They fought long and hard but eventually succumb. 🙁 And just yesterday, my last living Ariocarpus seedling (from your seeds) all of a sudden rotted. I just got some Periskiopsis cause I wanted to graft it. But I was too late. ☹️

Whenever I looked there was only seeds. But from what you are saying, this is a limited deal. So I understand now. They only release plants on a limited basis. Very cool you got in on these awesome plants!!! Looks like all will do well in your climate!!! I can see the future on that little Tephrocactus!!! That's going to be a real cool plant!!! I am hopeful that they will do well because they were growing in the same climate as I have. The plants have signs of being hard-grown which means they should be tough. I know Mesa Garden has unheated greenhouses too.

Good selection! My favorite is the Matucana. I have Mesa Garden seeds germinating on my window sill and now I will order some of their plants, and save a few years of waiting for blooms.

I ordered the very same C111A lithop seeds from Mesa Gardens in one of two multy-pack seed orders I made over the winter. I must say I'm a bit jealous because I didn't get any free gift with either of my orders unless it's a few more seeds than what's listed on the packet 😆. I sowed 7 of the C111A seeds on 5-15-23 & 6 of them have sprouted over the past 3 days. Those were all very nice cacti that you ordered & they look very healthy & well taken care of. I was particularly taken by the 1st Lobivia & the Tephrocactus. 👍

Soil mix depends on your climate. I live in a very arid environment and I use terracotta pots. Thus, my mix is 50-60% organic. But always adjust based on your climate. 😊
Same problem that I encounter with my Astrophytum myriostigma, Ana, they drop their buds before they can bloom fully 😢. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Our spring is always very short. But since the cold weather lingered, it was even shorter this year. 😉
