Hi! I’m one of the owners at Planta seca! This video changed our life! We got so many people buying boxes, we’ve never been this busy! We’re shipping mostly everything on Valentine’s Day! Sorry for the delay but the response from this video has been overwhelming. We’ve been making these boxes around the clock. If you want one, we’re shipping Wednesday!
@nizzarr1249 I’m glad people are ordering from you. I didn’t expect that reaction from my viewers, as well. But I’m happy for your business. I’ll be looking out for more deals from your store. Spread the passion for cactus! 🌵 😊☕️
You're blessed to have a supportive spouse to let you have an extensive collection! All I get from my end implications of having mental illness, hoarding. 😢 They don't understand how soothing it is just to look at these beautiful plants daily.😕
I’m sorry you get that type of response from your spouse. Over winter I moved majority of my outdoor cactus to our game room/man cave and he loves the setup. I’d always asking what type and eve. Wants to add more to the little cactus corner. I agree, it’s therapeutic and hope he comes around to appreciate this lovely hobby.
@@josiemojica3674 thanks! I'm sure my husband would freak out if I wanted to move my plants in his space! 😆 Actually it's my mother -in-law & son who think I have a problem. 😤
There is a fine line between hoarding and collecting. As for us, we all have our respective spaces for our hobbies (husband, me and my son). As long as we all keep our own spaces neat and we don’t take over each other’s spaces, we are all happy, 😊 Plants make me happy and sane, too! ☕️☺️
WOWSERS Ana what an AWESOME cactus haul from PlantaSeca, and thats an incredible bargain for all of these stunning new beauties, they are all absolutely gorgeous and a really amazing variety of cacti too, WOW I LOVE them all haha, thanks so much Ana for sharing this incredible cactus bargain haul unboxing with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a fantastic Sunday XXXX

From Morris Park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas, have a wonderful week ahead!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌷🌴🌸🌿🌻🍀🌾💐🌱🌹🌳😃👍

Hi from Australia.I used to order through mail order catalogues before online shopping there was a large selection of plants to choose from but now there isn’t much choice left .😊
Yes I have ordered some cacti and succulents already this year. I live in Mississippi. We have had some cold weather but it always passes by fast. I got a haworthia cymbiformis golden. But I got a cactus at Lowes that is the big round one that looks like it has cotton puffs in each section. There was no name on it but I couldn't resist 😊
Hi from Australia.I used to order through mail order catalogues before online shopping there was a large selection of plants to choose from but now there isn’t much choice left .
We usually do our shopping locally, being in Arizona we’ve been able to find most of what we like. As our knowledge and taste evolves I’m starting to see the value of shopping online for the really hard to find stuff. It also looks exciting to unbox some not knowing what’s inside. lol We get our first small delivery this week, can’t wait. We will have to try this place next time.
For 2024, I got me some Agaves! I have the white rhino, titanota f078, kichijokan, and kizan. I promised myself to not buy too many plants this year since I have been growing my own gymno and frailea seedlings. Your haul is really good!
I am a gardener of vegetables mostly but I want to start collecting cacti. They are so pretty. I am in Oklahoma so, I'm not sure how that will go. You hauled in a great variety! Great video!
Hi from Australia.I used to order through mail order catalogues before online shopping there was a large selection of plants to choose from but now there isn’t much choice left .😊😢❤
Enjoyed this video and I've learned so much from you! Plantaseca is a good grower. Others that are great are Planet Desert and Mountain Crest Gardens. Healthy, robust and never a mealybug. I collect aloes but for cacti it is the Gymnocalyciums, Opuntias, and a few others. In Portland, you can't rely on flowering with our cloudy winters, so interesting forms make the collection look better. My inventory ( the last count) was over 300 plants. My resolution is to continually make more space and to get my kids excited about growing and propagating. Thanks for posting these. You really do a great job!
Great, great, great haul! Thank you for sharing information about this seller. Last year I spent a fortune on nice pottery. So my resolution was to pot up every plant that had overgrown it's current pot. And about caffeine. I have a lot of plants in unusual coffee mugs (with a plastic insert like a former yogurt or fruit cup).🌵🌵🌵
Hi Ana! What a great deal for beautiful plants! I'm going to be placing an order tomorrow! I recently picked up a couple mammillaria, a variegated gymno, a euphorbia ferox, thelocactus and a ferocactus. Would love to see a potting video for these!
Fantastic purchase Ana, they are all in perfect condition for the price they cost !! I see that you have a lot of astrophytum asterias super kabutos / hybrids, before giving them water, in addition to the soil having to be completely dry, you have to press them carefully with your fingers and see if they are hard or soft, only when they are soft is that you give them a little water, I say this because from what I see in the videos you like to give your cacti a lot of water lolol :D You run the risk of the cacti bursting, just a little tip =) Have a nice sunday =)
WOW Ana, you're gonna need another green house! What a haul and for 3.70 per plant! Great buy! Mine's not nearly so grand. One new cactus this year is a clumping MAMMILLARIA BOCASANA CV. MULTILANATA and she is already blooming, so cute with her little ring of pink flowers among the white fluffy hairs.
Ah Yes, I have been having quite a few hauls already this 2024 - I grow mostly all Gymnocalyciums, and I have been getting a parcel delivered every day! Happy Growing.
Hi anna thank you soooo much for sharing I love all of them I don't care about spots on the astrophytums. Iam praying for the 2cthat are sitting over the water ❤
That's an another collection entirely! I got three new cacti yesterday and one is a very big spinosissima in full bud! I'm on the hunt for a larger, colorful ferocactus. I hope you get lots of flowers. I have ordered from PlantaSecaUSA in the past and have always been happy.
Ok, I did it. The $50 one. Yours looked so good that I had to try it! This will be my 4th online order this year. The first three were from Planet Desert (from your video :) ), my monthly box from Succullents Depot, and ab order from Gabriella Plants for a houseplant. I live in Virginia.
lol! I came back broke from my vacation. 😆 Had to save up first. But I was buying one or two every now and then when I go to plant stores. But nothing in large quantity like this one.
Hi from Australia.I used to order through mail order catalogues before online shopping there was a large selection of plants to choose from but now there isn’t much choice left .😊😢❤ 25:28
I’m not familiar with the online plant shops in Australia. But I know cactus and succulents are also popular there now. I’m sure soon, more online stores will open up there as the demand increases. Have you tried growing cacti from seed? It is fun and you will get to grow the plant species that you don’t normally find in stores there. 😊
WOW that is an amazing haul!!!! I haven’t stopped buying hahahahaha. I have bought a Monstera Thai Constellation late December and that was an ordeal with USPS. 😊 I have bought in 2024 Alocasia Nairobi Night, Chichipe cactus 🎉 and I bought two more online today Alocasia Black Velvet and Syngonium Albo I cannot wait to get them! So excited for your potting videos on these!
That's a lovely set of plants there! I've not bought any new plants this year but I have bought way too many seeds - I think I have over 20 types waiting to germinate. I'll get going with them soon, now the weather is starting to warm up.
What a lovely haul! That's a bargain, to get so many beautiful and diverse cacti. It's still winter where I am, but I bought a couple of cacti from big box stores nearby - a big echinopsis schickedanzii cluster with a variegated pup, a cereus spiralis and a small (no ID) ferorcactus. I'm from Europe and hope to order from Uhlig kakteen (from Germany) in spring.
What a haul!! Just 4 of those could have been $100! They look so good in their new homes, and they’ll be living their best lives. 🌵☀️💚💛 No New Year’s resolutions but I do have a question: do rodents or birds eat succulents or cacti? Four of mine have only the nubs left. If so, what’s the best defense? I haven’t had this happen before. Thanks for taking us along!
Rodents eat succulents and some cacti. They eat them to get water mostly. Birds on my experience just goes for the cactus fruits. No easy solution, just a good pest control.
Don't you run out of space? haha Also do you quarantaine the new one's and for how long? I once got mealybugs with a new cactus and they spread to many others and I am still fighting them currently (allthough they are nearly extinct they keep popping back every couple of months in a small group)
