Markelle Fultz 2019-20 Season Highlights | Healthy!

  • After an injury-riddled and chaotic start to a career for a #1 pick, Markelle Fultz bounced back in his first full season in Orlando. Fultz averaged 12.1 PPG 3.3 RPG 5.2 APG and 1.3 SPG over 64 games.
    Hopefully Fultz is now back on the right track and can fully recognize the potential he showed during his Freshman season at Washington.

    Now thats a real hooper. Really pulling for this guy since I was investigating that drama in philly for myself and checked out his college tapes. I'm happy to see his game starts to translate well into the NBA. Seems to me he has the whole package, and he's willing to do the flashy stuff too, and that's exactly what today's NBA needs if you ask me. I mean I love to watch Durant's shooting clinic, Curry dribbles and threes, Harden's infinite precision, the Kawhii style, PG smooth game, and all the other stars, but a guy who can do it all, you know the one on ones, drives, crossovers, layups, dunks , jumpshots, assists would be just awesome. I don't think we saw a guy like that since the last prime days of Kobe. I have high hopes with Fultz. Man I was spoiled when I was a kid watching Kobe, T-Mac, Iverson, VC, Pierce.

  • @rossjn9885
    @rossjn9885 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    A great sign was his 37% three-point fieldgoal percentage in the playoffs when it mattered the most. Next season I expect him to be given the keyes to the offense and a bump up in minutes. I can see a jump to 18ppg/5rpg/8apg/2spg on 46/36/80 percentages from the field.

    Reminds you a lot of James Harden. This guy was a consensus number pick pretty much the whole year leading up to the 2017 draft. I don’t the scouts could have predicted he’d miss his first year but he’s showing he can be a number one option his coach to run the offense. You don’t find a lot of guys with handles, explosive strength, and craftiness together in a cohesive package. Fultz is a for sure star in this league is will be a tough match up night in and night out for opposing defenses. Aaron Gordon is great fit for Fultz’s game. I always though he’d pair well with big man who put the ball the basket

      He plays nothing like hrden

    • @JCHR74
      @JCHR74 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah nah, he's more reminiscent of a young D-Wade then Harden. Supremely great strong finisher and at the basket and has that "smooth twitch" that young D-Wade had. He plays stronger and bigger than he and somewhat crafty but not "ball-on-string" crafty like harden or Kyrie nor obviously the shooter of those two. Nor is he pure explosive, super twitch like early D-Rose was.
      Fultz is young D-Wade with a more crafter ball handling package and vision.

      They've given him time and space, but they're going to expect the "training wheels" to come off this coming season. After the trade, they gave him half a season and an entire off-season completely away from the spotlight to get his body and mind right. Last season, they brought him along carefully...gradually increasing his minutes until he was averaging about 28 min per game. I think that this year, he will be expected to carry a full load and to play 30 plus minutes per game.
      They'll also expect him to assert himself more consistently. Last season, he'd go long stretches where he was pretty passive, and then he'd decide to fully assert himself and be aggressive, and he'd take over the game. He needs to be the aggressive version of himself the majority of the time. If he can do that, he'll be an all-star.

    As a Sixers' fan. I hate that we let this guy go, would've much rather seen Brett Brown go instead.

    It’s no secret that the skill and potential are there. It just needs to be properly nurtured.

    NBA is about to be in trouble. Shoulder injury stunted his ability and hes just fought through it the whole time. 76ers absolutely panicked trading him away but hes perfect in Orlando. Small market team that loves its players and will be more then happy to have him and be positive in his progression. What i Love about him is the IQ/Handles/Passing is still intact. just get more consistent from 3 and just continue to work hard. He really busts his ass out there and you can see he wants to win and be an important part in those wins.
