The ones I've done seem so small.....used 4mm hook and dk wool....measured flat it measures 5inches or 12cm ....is a babys head really that small?... i will appreciate any response😅
love the beanies....I was making it for a 2 year old girl...so I used a 5mm hook and my yarn is red heart 4ply...turned out the right size...thank u for the tutorial!

Thank you for sharing this with us. I have two new grand babies on the way. I will use this tutorial to make them some beanies. You do amazing tutorials and your work is beautiful.
Thanks for doing this wonderful tutorial. I really like the pattern, and your directions were very clear and easy to follow. You could easily see exactly where stitches needed to go and how to make them. Good job!
I loved making the 0 -3 mth beanie but it turned out way too small, my tension must be tighter than yours as I used exactly the same yarn and hook size! Oh well it will make a cute dolls hat!
Thank you for sharing this excellent video tutorial! My daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan and I would love to surprise her with a baby beanie using Gryffindor colors. She is expecting twins in March. I am using, I Love This Yarn #4 using the two colors. My eyesight is poor, so I tend to use a larger hook size, like J 6.0 or K 6.5. . What hook size would I use for the magic circle? I would greatly appreciate your help in adjusting this pattern so that I can surprise my daughter. Thank you again for your time and help!
I found you yesterday while looking for a bulky weight pumpkin tutorial/pattern. I made the premie beanie in no time at all. Where were you when I was a complete beginner???! You really hit the mark by showing in such detail exactly where the next stitch goes. Thank you again!
