My bad for not bringing up other alternatives to Eren's plan. There are alternatives, like the plan suggested by the scouts using a small scale rumbling to give the island more time to develop better technology. It may not be a good one, but I think it's better than the full-scale Rumbling.
There's a difference between understandable, and justified. I doubt anything could really justify what Eren is doing/has done, but it makes perfect sense, you understand how it came to this point. I find it crazy that the Mangaka was able to make me sympathize with a mass murder bent on the destruction of humanity, and I'm able to understand why he does it, and even empathize with it. Crazy
I think it’s absolutely impressive how Isayama managed to make a good portion of the fanbase sympathize with someone like Eren & I’ll never take that away from the show
Nice vid, I understand and respect your opinion and there's something I'd like to share. "That" panel you mentioned I know is hard to read since there's no text or explanation to it, all we can know is it's about a war several decades after the rumbling, it's also after Mikasa died of old and living a happy life having children and a family and never forgetting about Eren. But where I wanna get is, look at it this way, in the past the Eldian empire dominated the world and yet they started to fight each other. Here's the same, the whole point is that no matter how big or small the world is humans will always find a way to fight each other and that's what happened there, doesn't have to necessarily be the remainings of the world vs Paradis, can also be a civil war etc. Lady Kiyomi herself stated that the full rumbling just would make the world a smaller place and humans will always fight each other for any reason. You don't have to agree with me, I just share my views, I like both endings (the first and the extra pages) 'cause the first one fits more for a character close ending, most of all Mikasa, and the extra pages cover the themes of the series as a whole. Again, good video 🙏🏻
Also if you ask me, I'd really like the anime to keep this panels but I'd like them to give some more context like more scenes that sow what happens to the rest of the world and if the war is remainings of the world vs Paradis or Paradis inner war. But something I definitely wanna see is the panel of the kid finding the three where Eren was buried.
I really like the way you see that panel & I want the anime to explain it better. But the issue is that people could interpret it as a confirmation of their beliefs of the Rumbling being right, so I hope the anime gives it the same insight you gave👍
I have to disagree with the idea that Eren did not want to do the rumbling. He was seeking the image of freedom that he saw in Grisha's memories. That was his true motivation. If he didn't want to do the Rumbling, he'd put his trust on Armin to find an alternative. He always trusted Armin beforehand, even keeping to Armin's plan against Hoover even though he knew that meant Armin was probably gonna die. Edit: I also don't think you need to provide an alternative to the Rumbling. Reminder that it was Zeke, under Eren's influence, who talked the Tybers to declaring war on Paradis. Zeke and Eren didn't have to provoke Marley and the world.
Ngl…. I just wanted to see the rumbling, Marley was hyping it up and me wondering what had them so shook.? I thought they was capping because most anime characters who try to destroy the world usually don’t but to see this actually happening it’s the 1st for me
Ok I respect your opinion, but this is another video where someone says eren is wrong but you give zero viable alternatives. I haven’t heard one good alternate solution for Eren, based on his goals of protecting his friends and his island.
@@WhoIsKaiYT I do not respect your opinion, but i respect you for holding to your beliefs. I personally disagree heavily, but this is also a much exaggerated situation, and thankfully IRL there are always better options.
There is a man sitting on a bench in a park , you dont know him at all , he has a lot of money in his pockets and you are sodamn poor that you cant feed your children So you choose your children's life over that man's life and kill him , take the money and feed your children Despite knowing there is a 90% chance that he had a family and they probably will loose their source of income - Eren Yeagers's mindset -
Idea for ending The part 3 should start with a team a fighter pilots from India or Arab or Hizur and show there journy of bringing a set of mini atomic bombs to kill Eren They should show us how the rest of world would react to Marley telling them Wall titans are attacking , they will deny , accept , say "we always said not to fck with them" etc
My problem with what you're saying is that let's not forget the whole world wanted to genocide them first he tried every option went to a meeting where they said screw it we still want the island dead so therefore is no longer about morality it's about basic survival which is when morality goes out the window if one side wants to pull the ultimate evil against me then this means in order for my survival I'm going to pull the ultimate evil against them it's just how basic human survival is and the writer of attack on Titan said he wanted to kill everybody which means one side was going to get killed off regardless and I much rather it have to be the side that literally came off as the biggest douchebags that ending to the manga the last few chapters of course it was an interpreted like that
Eren could’ve just used that power to dismantle the oppressive governments of the world. Basically intimated people to revolt against their leaders who support or supported the subjecation of Eldians
I don't think the "innocent Eldian" argument really works (in the point of view of Erin). I mean the majority are brainwashed just the same as the rest of the world. They all blame paradise for being the "real devils". I mean his mom was eaten in front of him only because other eldians came to his island. It isn't about Eldian or non eldian to Erin it's about the people of his Island or the world? He is clearly in the wrong, but he doesn't care about the other side ultimately. He only wants what is best for his home, nothing else matters to him.
In my opinion I definitely don’t agree with what Eren is doing cause of the simple fact he’s gonna kill millions that don’t deserve it but at the same time I don’t think Eren is truly a villain but at the same time we shouldn’t forget that Marly and the other nations our at fault too scene from day one Marly knew the risk that came with attacking the island but they choose to do it anyway more so out of selfishness and greed then fear scene I think all they really cared about was stealing the founder and the resources of the island for their own selfish reasons and gains the fear of the rumbling was just part of it and I think the other nations are at fault to because of the simple fact of the worlds refusal to let go of past of the eldains and hold on to it as a grudge against them hating them for stuff none of them were even around for as a result it made Eren do what he did by showing him the worlds views on eldians can not change they could not be reason with and Marly and the other nations would never stop until everyone on the island was dead making Eren feel like what he did was the only was to protect the island I’m not saying Erens a hero for what he did far from it but I don’t think he’s a villain at the same time I think if anything he’s the result of the worlds hatred coming back at them all at once cause of the simple fact the world should have moved on and let go of the past but they didn’t held on to it using it against the Eldains for crimes they weren’t born around and as result it made Eren do what he did by showing him the world would never stop trying to kill everyone on the island but that’s just my opinion

I don't think that plan is good either simply because they'd have to sacrifice historia and her future kids to make it happen
@@t.j.hampton6483 that plan also sucks but it’s better than genocide
I hope that the ending will be more clear in the anime, also great video!
Thanks, hope so too!

What we should do is prooving Zeke right to proove Eren wrong
