There really isn't a great shut off option for a cab tractor other than turning off the pto shaft, getting off and pulling the lever. A cable control on/off is offered by the mfg., but it is not economical at all($250+). Thanks for watching and commenting!
What is your procedure of cleaning a fertilizer spreader? Use water only or soap & water? Do you use old motor oil (or oil of some sort) to coat the internals of the bin?
+Drew6709 Wash with soapy water and then pour or spray a vegetable or mineral oil on the inside of the hopper and let it run down to the bottom.I would also wash and oil the spreading disc and moving components after use especially after fertilizers and salts (corrosive)materials.
Do you fellas have anything in the works for a Small Ag-Lime Drop spreader? Ive got a few acres and usually spread 3 ton to the acre of Ag-lime to bring the soil up about 2 points. I loose a percentage of lime in the air when i spread and the neighbor down the road doesn't like the dust when the wind kicks up. A small 500 or 1000lb 3 point or Ground drive drop spreader....thats actually affordable.. would be great. I dont mind paying Canadian import fees if the product is good and North American Made.

Is That A 150 Or A 300. And, Whats The Difference Between A XA300 And A SE300?
Could you use this to spread salt on ice
700 pounds of lime on that little plot? You have lost your mind.
