Thank you for this video. I am brand new to ScanNCut. I was a Silhouette Cameo and Cricut (all versions except Maker) user until I WON a SNC2 in May. I find this machine much harder to learn; probably because the Canvas is such new technology. I do use SCAL and that does help. I'm now a subbie to your channel and I'm going to go look at your other videos.
Thank you, all my videos are in playlist so they so be easier to use and find. have a look in the beginners playlist as i am updating those videos in a new series at the moment.
This was a great video. I wish someone could do this in my Embroidery Program Embird. You made it so easy. I love how you demonstrate in the videos and go through each step. Thank you again.
I'm not sure if I saw it on this or another video, but you were able to have an annotation on the lower left of the screen to show the size of the selected item. I haven't been able to figure out how to get those numbers to show up. Where is that feature found so that I can select it? As a newbie I'm learning so much from your tutorials. Thanks so much.
Thanks. I was working with a friend yesterday (we're both newbies). She was on the online Canvas, I was on the download version on my laptop and saw the difference. Too bad it's not on the download Canvas also. I can see where it would be very helpful for my card making. Thanks again.
So long as you have your shape selected and the Edit icon selected in the download programme it will show your measurements over on the right hand side, rather than at the bottom of the page like it does in the online version.
Hello Ashley, I am really enjoying your videos. I am a new user of the ScanNcut machine. I have downloaded the Brothers Work Canvas but I do not have the same functioning button as you have when you open up your canvas. Can you tell me why this is happening? Thanks
Thanks for answering back Ashley. I did figure that out later after going back to the site. I finally got to follow some of the things you did and it worked! The project didn't come out perfect but I did it. My other question is once you group all the pieces together, can I it and when I save the project, do I save them grouped together? Thanks again.
Great video but I don't really like using canvas that much, still learning, however, I prefer to use illustrator as this program is much less awkward to design plus you can save it your work as a sgv file and then upload the design into canvas, but still be able to edit the original in Adobe Illustrator.
Yes thats why I also use Inkscape and show how to design in that programme in some of my videos, But because not everyone is confident in using Inkscape or Illustrator they want to learn Canvas, this video was a request and yes I agree its not the best but you can make most things with it.
Thank you so much for your very clear, easy to follow and understand videos. You make a very fine teacher!
Thank you
Thank you soooo much for teaching us how to use these machines, I was soooo lost prior to finding your tutorials 😘💐

Why am I not able to see the same font package that came with my scanncutDx? Thank you for your teaching!!!
Sorry I don’t have the DX model so I don’t know

In SNC Canvas online the size shows up when you select an item but I don’t think it does if you use the download version

Very interesting. Thanks

I use canvas on line the cloud based version not the download, that’s probably why yours looks different to mine.

i would save them un grouped, so that you can separate them once in the machine if you need to
That was very helpful
Great, thank you.

When I do Wright click there is no so big list as yours. There isn’t “divide” so I can’t separate the letters
If you don’t have that on the right click you can find all the functions under edit
applelover53 Thank you, I found it
