You said if dipped in paint thinner restorations will break right. So if i dipped my megaladon tooth in paint thinner, it will not be damaged if it's not restored right? Do you recoment that test, if I don't mind what happened to restorations. Also, how long i have to keep it dipped? Really want to know my megaladon tooth is real and not restored.

Can you tell me what solution you use to polish a tooth. IE, beezwax etc.?

i will never restore mine, because if you do, the fossil will no longer be 100% genuine

Exactly. a peice of mine broke off and I felt horrible putting glue on it even tho you can't see it
