Deadpool is the master of 4th wall breaking that he managed to slay every heroes and villains and destroy the entire Marvel universe by killing off the writer.
There's actually a Sequel to this and it's called Deadpool Killustrated. And pretty much it's Deadpool killing the classic characters such as Sherlock Holmes and various others. Of course, Holmes is able to best Deadpool and that leads into part 3 of the series. Deadpool kills Deadpool(Multiverse). And it gets crazy thanks to how the writers just created versions of the Merc with a mouth for the book. I mean there's Pandapool, Mimepool, Kidpool, Dogpool and even more.
@theamazingspooderman2697 The writing makes no sense because if it did, Spider-Man would be alive, Daken ans X-23 would shredded DP and Cap would've knocked him out like he's done before.
The reason why killing wolverine wouldn't work is because wolverine has never died (afaik at least), while Spiderman has many timelines where he dies. Wolverine dying just ends the story there. Spiderman dying opens lots of doors as per the many alternate stories where he either dies or fails to become spider man
@@primevmegatronTf but he came back no? That is what he is referring to Very few (if any) Spiderman deaths have been reverted (endgame does not count) They usually happen in alternate universes tho
@@rompevuevitos222 I’m aware wolverines death was reverted, I assumed the original comment included deaths that were undone but perhaps I misunderstood
It's a little deeper than that. Quoting the comic from just after he kills Spider-Man: "I think I've already proven then I've broken those chains. Otherwise they would never let me kill their beloved Spider-Man". Spider-Man dying here doesn't open any door because all doors in this universe are closed. It's a what-if comic that has no impact on the wider Marvel world. That is, until Deadpool breaks free from the universe. Deadpool is literally referring to real-life popularity. Characters die all the time in the comics, but if they are popular enough they will eventually come back. That's why this time, Wolverine's death is permanent because no matter how popular he is, there will never be a follow-up comic bringing him back to life.
6:16 Ok so heres the deal with Spiderman hes extremely durable so he tank a lot of hits most people can't got superhuman strength and endurance which adds to the durability and heals much faster than normal people BUT HE IS NOT BULLET PROOF any bullet even weak ones can and will kill him. He can shake off non fatal shots and recover quickly from them but any shots to the kill zones and he's done for. Which is why he's got the Spidey sense to you know avoid dying 😅 but in that case guess he's Spidey sense took a nap and got him killed
Spidey sense should theoretically make him completely invincible as long as he's not fighting anyone massively faster than he is It's straight up precognition and auto dodge I think the only reason it didn't activate against Deadpool is cuz well... It's Deadpool and not even spidy sense can predict his next move if even he himself doesn't know what he's doing
@@potatosalad3655I think the problem was that spider sense doesn’t work on people Peter doesn’t think are a threat including friends and family even venom doesn’t alert his spider sense because he was bonded at one point. So because Peter was close to Deadpool his spider sense didn’t work
@@danielgraham1082 It could also be more meta. The Spidey sense has been known to fail Peter... when the story calls for it. And well wouldn't you know. This story called for it.
It seems like people forget the fact that because Deadpool knows he's in a comic he changes the rules of them himself in whatever way he needs them to be changed in that moment so crushing Thor with his hammer may just be Deadpool fucking with the rules....He's almost a literal god as far as the comics are concerned since he can just change the rules
In Red's Trope Talk about Anti Heroes, in a twitter poll about who counts as an anti hero, most people said Deadpool counts when the writers want him to be. And I see why they said that.
To answer the couple of questions you had Pat, Spiderman is not bullet proof, he's not even stab proof. He's very strong and can take punches but his skin is not much more durable than a normal human. Professor X is telepathic not telekinetic. He can read minds and he has historically always struggled to get in to Deadpool's mind as it's such a mess. He can't move things with his mind, that's Jean Grey and a few others. Oh and also as other people have said, the red text box didn't make Deadpool aware he was in a comic, he always knew that, it just drove him to do something about it rather than just ignore the deeper meaning of it as he always had before.
The spell on Thor’s hammer is that it can only be lifted by the worthy that has nothing to do with weight so making the hammer bigger would increase its weight, worthiness does nothing to the weight of the hammer
Well it works because that's what the writter wanted him to do, even if a lot of those kills wouldn't really work like i believe Thor's death, Hulk and the use of that sword for Wolverine, not including every hero that could just stop him in a flash.
"And they leave Wade with Dr. Bright" Different Dr. Bright, obviously, but this would be an absolutely amazing crossover now that I think about it. I wonder how the Amulet would interact with Wade? Deadpool has ALWAYS known he was a character in a comic, breaking the 4th wall is second nature to him.
