Those other runes that you can purchase from the Arena are super powerful. Can’t remember which one, but one of has magical effects and They’re insane too just like in odyssey atlantis dlc where you can summon magical friend to help you assassinate, but in this case this friend help you instantly stun enemies on crit and vanishes, but if you have gunglier and gea blog spears combined and if you are fighting with high critical chance build up runes, it makes it kind of OP in combination that friend keeps appearing and Disappearing, It’s crazy and enemies always going to be stunned. They were the first things I was interested to buy and I did. 10:06
I agree the perfect dodge speed buff rune is the best weapon rune from the arena but the other two are pretty sick too. Especially the one that procs an Einherjar who stuns for you.
This dlc looks really nice but im not playing it until they add permanent hood option so i can look like havi from the trailer, also they have to fix the capes and give them physics, like seriously these things should of been fix last year😂. If they could improve quality life features instead of adding helix items, Valhalla would be even better.
The hood is for stealth as it should be.. so I wouldn't hold ur breath.. it'll never happen. U can't use ur possible purchase as a kind of ransom.. ubisoft doesn't need ur money.. so blackmail won't work hahaha

Anyone who recently downloaded the recent free Legends mode giveaway on the PlayStation store has been locked out of buying the directors cut upgrade on PS4 because the game registers you as already having it. This essentially prevents the players from accessing the Iki Island bonus content if they didn't already have it and downloaded the free legends giveaway. The only fix right now is to contact PS store supprt. This is a crazy bug for a big title game and no fix seems to be coming for it. Let's get some attention on this.

4:43 - Just as an fyi, I don't think the crit chance bonuses on Viper Bow affect anything else other than the bow crit chance. Valhalla tracks crit chance for each weapon - it doesn't appear to be universal. You can verify this by equipping a weapon that increases crit chance when at full health - the bow crit chance is increased, but the main and off-hand weapons are the same as when the bow is not equipped at all. This means that if you're going to use an armor that has a crit chance condition, your main weapon that you are going to be attacking with needs to have a crit bonus on it... which means using the wooden stick wouldn't be that great.
I have any advice for you if you equip the Darvin Full set and check the details of this armour you will notice there is an additional increase full speed for ( 20 ) points it means you will become super fast even with a heavy weapons try it out my friend
Put The major armor rune (if you run out of stamina sacrifice hugr for stamina) to your armor and with 2 hugr bars you can have never ending focus of the nornir🔥 really loving the dlc and the odin runes!
Ac Valhalla is a step-down from the fun perks and stats we had in Odyssey. In Odyssey, you had the Demigod Armor set which gave you +30% extra damage, in Valhalla you have boring perks that give slight armor or ONLY work with 2-3/more enemies, making it USELESS when it really matters (bosses/ elites) Really do not enjoy the current perk system where 99% is so weak.

Season pass is the word, might sound scummy but a season is only one year because AC’s only had 1 year of content for a game that’s why people assume they always get all the DLCs. Since DoR comes out in year two it can’t be applied to the season pass. Valhalla also isn’t the first game to do something like this.
So should I max out my weapons/armor and then buy the helix set because it says based on best gear? Does that mean my newly bought gear is at max Stat of my non bought gear and I can level it up to surpass my current gear? It confused me a bit tbh...😅

If you're looking for a cheese just duel spear with Gae Bolg that focuses on speed, attack and crit per hit. Nukes everything on the hardest difficulty. But I've been enjoying the new weapons and builds.
The only set I wear is the Paladin set, because it ALWAYS gives +50 damage and +70% energy, while other sets give boring, non-player power effects like +armor. Why the hell would I even ever consider switching if you (Ubisoft) can't make something that is worth it to switch.

The fiery warsong isn’t that hard to get imo, i got it with 317 power in 30 minutes and i ran the raven clan armor, the impaler and fenrir’s incisor. The hardest boss was the one with the heavy shield who could heal. After dying on her a few times i resorted to the good ol’ Gungnir + Spear of leonidas while spamming power of jotunheim to get those brushes of death. Now i’m trying to get all the runes for the cursed armor and then i wanna take a shot at the odin set

I think the paladin and einherjar sets are still the best 2 sets in the game and I still love the 2 ulfberht swords they are fast and deal alot of crit and stagger damage.
How many boss fights can be found in DoR? I mean hidden boss fights... I find one hidden boss fight on the North which required, if I good remember Jotunheim Armor. You can go through one of portal under water tame...
They should have increased your ration purse or have made use of hunting game to fill rations a long time ago. Took a long time to find rations at start of Ragnarok and walking thru lava had me at a sliver.

Only two of the Atgeirs interest me. The fire ones: Muspel Spark and Fiery Warsong since my preferred element is fire. Didn't know Muspel enemies ignore fire damage though. That'a a bummer. What about poison? Does poison damage them?
Poison does damage them! I also noticed that even though the bombing ability won't damage them, the explosion seems to stun them a little bit. Joyese (I know I spelt it wrong) was useful for the poison damage after landing 5 heavy hits imo
@@amaplelog3101 Interesting. In contemplating I think I'm still gonna stick with fiery based elementals though. Been my preference for so long don't want to change now. Plus there are a lot of enemies still that suffer from elemental damage.
Thought the dlc was fine dont really care for the odin story hopefully the next expansion is about evior plus all i want ubi to add is hooded combat mercenery system to come back the option to remove capes froom hoods and to customize our jormsviking instead of just clicking the random button till u see one you like
I loved the Odin story and the future implications of Juno's comrades appearing again. Also it's heavily implied that aliens create the ISU. The so called Elves. Man this DLC was fantastic. I know not everyone love the ISU lore but I'm so i love with the story right now.
Until 0:15 its the set you can get from Kara the Valkirie. At 0:16 or 0:17 its the purified version of the cursed armor (he talks about it on the video).
Hey so i found something im not sure its been found yet but there is a meteor strike that happened in isle of skye irl and i just witnessed it in what looks like the same spot on the island in the game and found the meteor ! Let me know if anyone else has found this please thanks

Like it's highly implied that aliens created the ISU race, Balder will make a return and will be thorn in Loki's backside and Juno's acolytes are still out there ready to follow Juno's will. The fiery warsong and the muspel spark are useless against muspel enemies because there immune to fire so you cant get any effect just melee damage

Just switch to easy mode. Or decrease enemies health, or increase your damage and health in the options.
If new content is like the Odyssey demigod, then old fans will complain. It's very hard for Ubisoft to get a balance.

When does something get to grindy?
Jor can y talk them about the abilities with thunder effect to be usable at England?? We paid 40 euros for a mythical dlc and instead of thunder abilities we drop bombs in England...its not fair they have to change it or give an option to the player

I use palatin/fallen hero with algunir which is the most powerful setup you can get
I like norse mythology so ragnarok was a must get for me. I waited for a good sale on DoR so spent only $20 instead of $40
Just a heads up. The Jomsvikings can't use the atgeir weapons. They glitche out, leave them on the boat and fight unarmed. No joke.
I find it insanely funny that there is a stick weapon on here. And to mention the cursed armor. My god it's so cool. Had an edgy vibe but cool
This update deleted 140 of equipped runes man, why is everything so broke

That fire weapon will be good most of the time because most of the time in that game you were surrounded by three or more enemies

I think the paladin and einherjar sets are still the best 2 sets in the game and I still love the 2 ulfberht swords they are fast and deal alot of crit and stagger damage.
after this patch my game on PC crashed after 2-5 minuts playing and no matter what i try to do it keeps on crashing
How many boss fights can be found in DoR? I mean hidden boss fights...
I find one hidden boss fight on the North which required, if I good remember Jotunheim Armor. You can go through one of portal under water tame...
Is something similar to Muspelheim or even Dwarves Armor Sets?
They should have increased your ration purse or have made use of hunting game to fill rations a long time ago. Took a long time to find rations at start of Ragnarok and walking thru lava had me at a sliver.
hey i'm gonna buy the dlc now i was wondering do i have to take out all my runes from the helix items in case i lose them or i don't have to worry about that ???
I myself did not lose anything but most of my helix* weapons/armours auto upgraded to divine quality
Only two of the Atgeirs interest me. The fire ones: Muspel Spark and Fiery Warsong since my preferred element is fire. Didn't know Muspel enemies ignore fire damage though. That'a a bummer. What about poison? Does poison damage them?
Poison does damage them!
I also noticed that even though the bombing ability won't damage them, the explosion seems to stun them a little bit. Joyese (I know I spelt it wrong) was useful for the poison damage after landing 5 heavy hits imo
@@amaplelog3101 Interesting. In contemplating I think I'm still gonna stick with fiery based elementals though. Been my preference for so long don't want to change now. Plus there are a lot of enemies still that suffer from elemental damage.
Played through the story arch and was very disappointed that it was so short.
Thought the dlc was fine dont really care for the odin story hopefully the next expansion is about evior plus all i want ubi to add is hooded combat mercenery system to come back the option to remove capes froom hoods and to customize our jormsviking instead of just clicking the random button till u see one you like
I loved the Odin story and the future implications of Juno's comrades appearing again. Also it's heavily implied that aliens create the ISU. The so called Elves. Man this DLC was fantastic. I know not everyone love the ISU lore but I'm so i love with the story right now.

Until 0:15 its the set you can get from Kara the Valkirie. At 0:16 or 0:17 its the purified version of the cursed armor (he talks about it on the video).
I really wanna play it, but i can't see spending $40.00 for it ! Ubi Soft has got stingy.

Hey so i found something im not sure its been found yet but there is a meteor strike that happened in isle of skye irl and i just witnessed it in what looks like the same spot on the island in the game and found the meteor ! Let me know if anyone else has found this please thanks

I think the standalone rift game will be a continuation of Ragnarok in the isu sense. As for future dlc possibly a hidden ones dlc with haytham

Are you guys hyped that they teased multiple stuff to come. Like it's highly implied that aliens created the ISU race, Balder will make a return and will be thorn in Loki's backside and Juno's acolytes are still out there ready to follow Juno's will. It's crazy that no is talking about this. Man i f*cking love this DLC.
@@pixelcount350 Dude can I just say assassin’s creed is much more than just place value it’s constantly evolving with every bit of story that they placed into it because the lore is so deep and constantly being evolved
Stuck on finding Fritjof it says follow tyra but she won't move and just stands there. Possibly bugged. Deleted game and downloaded again but still Stuck same spot. Love This armor it's my favorite one of all
