Love all the local content! Find myself looking for channels like yours more and more. Nice seeing action from the same lakes I have access to. I’ve been debating on a cheap boat or a decked out kayak. Your videos make me lean towards a nice kayak. Not sure if it’s been mentioned in earlier videos but do you mind sharing what your kayak is? I’m a bigger dude so stability is my main concern. Is standing up and fishing just out of the question with a kayak?
@@jasoncowick2376 thanks brother. My kayak is a 2022 Native Slayer 10 Max. I have a Newport NK180 motor on it as well. You can stand up in a kayak and fish without any issues, depending on which kayak you get. I say spend the extra money and get a stable kayak. I use to have the same mind set when I went from bank fishing to kayak fishing. You’re so use to setting the hook while standing up, so that’s your comfort zone. But you once you get a kayak and learn how to set the hook while sitting, you’ll never wanna stand again. Hahaha. I barely stand up in my kayak anymore. LOL.
